Objective is to create a travel journal of the Riverboat Tour of ancient Egypt to share information you
have learned about this culture.
This can be done using your own drawings, clip art and information and facts learned at each of the
SIX stops. Use your textbook as a resource and the online sites made available on my teacher
webpage, and the article provided for each of the six stops, but also feel free to find other sources on
your own.
Requirements: Must include….
 A page for each of the six stops, each stop should have ….
o a pharaoh,
o a main period of history and
o a point of interest
o a paragraph detailing the sites visited
 A list of at least 2 resources “Cited Sources” (Name of
book/text, Web address)
 A picture, map, diagram, graph, table or timeline on each
page
 A geographically accurate map of the cultures time period
 A table of contents for your journal
 A page of extra information not mentioned in the journal 3 –
5 facts
 A reflection of the trip along the Nile in paragraph format,
with a beginning, details, and conclusion
