SUCCESSFUL PRESENTATIONS OF ZAGREB IN DENMARK AND SWEDEN
Zagreb, March 22, 2010 – On March 18th and March 19th in Copenhagen and in
Stockholm, The Zagreb Tourist Board organized two presentations of tourist offer of
Croatia's capital for media representatives and tour operators.
The first of two presentations was held in the capital of Denmark, at the Hotel
Radisson Royal Blu. At the presentation were present 40 honorable guests, who saw
the films of Zagreb, the press conference and the performance of soloists Ana
Rucner. The meeting was attended by the director of the Croatian National Tourist
Board in Scandinavia, Mr. Dario Matošević, a representative of Norwegian Airlines
(as of May opens a new air route Copenhagen-Zagreb) and representatives of the
Embassy of Denmark, led by H.E. Mr. Ladislav Pivcevic. Immediately after the
presentation, special party was held and, at the very end of it, three lucky winners
were drawn from the collected business cards and awarded with: a replica of
Penkala, tie, and a weekend in Zagreb.
On the next day, March 19th, in Stockholm at the hotel Sheraton, was held a
meeting with more than 90 representatives of Swedish travel agents and journalists,
following the same principle as the previous day.
Both presentations yielded very positive reaction and obvious delight with Zagreb’s
offer and we believe that our invitation will result in many visits to Zagreb.
