III. Overview of Partnering
Almost all Japanese pharmaceutical companies and biotech companies participated in the 2014 Bio Japan partnering!!!
The Bio Japan matching system is available and the system enables you to pre-arrange meetings prior to the event. You
can create your profile, search other company profiles, send meeting requests to others and accept or decline requests
from others. Create new partnerships and strengthen existing business relationships using the Bio Japan matching
system. 678 companies from 29 countries participated in the 2014 Bio Japan partnering and the 2015 partnering is
expected to attract 700+ companies from 30+ countries.

<Clues for your success in the exhibition>
-Please, bring your company leaflets/catalogues, posters, company sign board in English and preferably Japanese
translation, and anything to make your booth more attractive, and your B2B meeting more meaningful.
- Please send the leaflets/catalogues in digital format, such as MS-office, or PDF. HIDA will make pre-event
approaches to secure a high turnout at the booths only for HIDA program participants.
- Please keep in mind that your enthusiastic participation and preparation are the most important key factors for your
success.

・ If you need an interpreter only for your company, we can also arrange it with an additional charge. (An English
interpreter costs 50,000 yen/day; an own language interpreter costs 60,000 yen/day.)
・ Optional furnishings, furniture/equipment can be arranged at participants’ request with an additional charge.

IV.Publicity and Promotion
HIDA also makes pre-event approaches to secure a high turnout at the booths for HIDA program participants. In
addition, HIDA will announce participants’ company profiles in our web site in Japanese to attract possible
Japanese buyers/customers.
If you have such needs and you can send us a list of your customers or targets visitors with the information of
contacts and emails addresses (in MS-Excel format), HIDA will send the emails of invitation in Japanese language
on behalf of your company.
