Comm/net offers several unique and comprehensive integrated power systems for “drop-in” power applications.
Configurable power rack / cabinet and Comm/net modular power component system
Seismic zone 4 rigidity and weld configuration
18” deep or 30” deep frame and side panel depth options for cabinetized or frame rack systems
Flexible and fast mounting options for floor anchoring and alignment as well as built in 5/8" threaded sockets in multiple places on the top of the racks for vertical bracing and support of overhead ladder rack systems
Comprehensive high current frame grounding system to ensure safety and elimination of loop currents for installed equipment. Built in two-hole ground lug attachment points on main rack frame for ground whip to overhead H-tap connections. High current nickel-plated copper vertical ground bar with built-in two-hole lug attachment point for ground whip connection to rack frame or overhead ground. Provides excellent low impedance ground connections for rectifier, battery and DC distribution component equipment chassis
Flexible option kits for the data rack system allow the user to start with a basic relay rack frame and by adding bolt-on parts, convert the rack into a frame rack, cabinet system, and/or multirack system with 5" spacer panels from rack to rack
Modular power system integrates into rack/cabinet package, choice of: o Multiple rectifier shelves o Battery shelves with disconnect modules o Distribution breaker panels for low/medium/high current circuit breaker outputs o DC-AC inverters for 120V protected AC loads
Comm/net provides the network engineer a powerful and responsive solution for quick deployment of power upgrades to deploy new services. CSI manufactures a comprehensive modular power system, which includes a pre-wired and configured power rack/cabinet built to order. This system saves installation labor on site and greatly reduces time to power-up new network equipment.
CSI Powerbays can be configured for rectifier, battery, and distribution options from 100 to 1,000A.
Systems are assembled with off the shelf modules and components for quick turn-around.
120/208/240VAC input rectifier shelf configurations. Multiple rectifier shelves with copper bussing internal to the cabinet provide modular and N+1 rectifier redundancy
19” rack mount battery shelves with front terminal Telecom batteries, battery disconnect module for string isolation and protection
DC Distribution circuit breaker panel options with multiple circuit breaker choices from 5 amps to 400Amps per circuit
Modular and redundant DC to AC inverters to provide protected 120VAC power for AC load devices
