Create a journal explaining what you do on a daily basis. Write at least 3
sentences per day. Some good phrases are:

You MUST use a minimum of 21 different verbs that are conjugated in the correct
form. You may use other verbs that we haven’t done in class yet, but do NOT use
any more than 10 new verbs.
Rough copies must be seen by Ms. Murphy by Friday, March 27, at the end of
class. These copies should be on paper. Time will be given in class to create rough
copies.
Most of the work will be done in class.
Final copies must be submitted to eBackpack by April 1
The final project may be in BookCreator (journal), Skitch (captions for some of the
pictures), Keynote, or any other app you feel comfortable using.
You will get a rough draft grade (20%) and a final product grade (40%).
MUST include at least ONE picture per day that is an illustration of any of the
sentences included in that day. Seven pictures minimum!

Think about the things you do all week long. Sometimes you do the same thing, day after day. Sometimes you only do a
particular action once, either way, include it in your journal. I’m not going to contact your parents to see if you really do
clean your room or study every day! If your life is boring, you can create an alter ego that has a more exciting life and
use this project to be more creative.
Sentences should include 7 – 14 verbs in the form of YO, 7-14 sentences in the form of 3rd person, and 7-14 sentences in
the 1st person plural. This way you can write about things you do alone, things your friends or family does, and then
things you do with your friends and/or family.
