Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
Knowledge of the correct methods of handling and disposal of refuse/waste products.
Ability to operate machines/equipment in a cost effective manner.
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining of hygienic standards at hospital, within a team.
Effective utilisation and maintenance of equipment.
Responsible for the removal of waste at the facility.
Cost effective use of cleaning consumables.
Linen, curtain and blind management.
Assist with the serving of meals and refreshments.
Support to Household Supervisor.
