LIBRARY NEWS Jim Plain Elementary is participating in an exciting program that encourages students in grades K through 6 to read for fun. Read to Succeed is a free program sponsored by Six Flags Theme Parks. Every student who completes six hours of recreational reading before February 26, 2015 is eligible for a free admission ticket valid at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio. Students will develop a greater appreciation for books when they see that you think reading is important too. Happy Reading! The Six Flags Read to Succeed Team LOST OR OVERDUE BOOKS Please help your child find any lost or overdue books. If a student has an overdue book that is over 2 months past due, they will not be allowed to check out another book until the overdue book is returned or paid for. Overdue notices will be sent home every other Wednesday. A check-out period is 2 weeks and students can renew a book up to 2 times. No payment is required unless the book is lost. If it is returned, there is no late fee. :) Please contact the librarian with questions at carrie.bresnehen@leanderisd.org or visit the library page on the school website.
