Do you know a child who is getting ready for pre-k or kindergarten next fall?
Leander ISD’s Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration is almost here! On April 15 and 16, from
7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., families are encouraged to register their child at their neighborhood LISD
elementary campus during pre-k (free for qualifying families) and kindergarten registration.

Bad Weather Make-Up Day Set for April 27
Leander ISD's designated bad weather make-up day is scheduled
for April 27. This day will be a normal school day in order to make
up for the classes that were missed on March 5.

Field Day is Friday, May 1st
All students at Jim Plain Elementary will get the opportunity to show off their skills in a variety of fun
stations at Field Day, Friday, May 1st. Third, Fourth and Fifth graders will rotate through stations from 9AM11AM while Kindergarten, First and Second graders will get their turn from 12PM-2PM. Field Day T-shirts will
be sold from March 25th-April 10th. Order yours today! Shirts cost $10 each. All proceeds benefit the
Physical Education Department at Jim Plain Elementary. Stay tuned for more information!
