LRC Members League Rules
1.
To be eligible to win prizes, a horse/pony combination must attend a minimum of 2 competitions.
2.
Members League points are awarded in the League classes, open to Ladyleys Riding Club members and non
members.
3.
The 4 highest percentages per horse/pony will be used to calculate the total.
4.
Horses/ponies will be eligible to compete at one level of the league only, and with one rider only. Any
horse/pony changing riders during the league will not carry forward any points previously gained with the
previous rider.
5.
The Intro League Open to horses/ponies that have not been placed 1st in any league with more than 6
competitors in any league and to have no BD points. This class is also open to any horse/pony ridden by a
rider eligible for class 1.
6.
The Preliminary League: Open to horses/ponies that have not been placed 1st in any previous league at
preliminary level or above with 6 or more competitors in the league and to have no more than 49 BD
points.
7.
The Novice League: Open to horses/ponies that have not been placed 1st in any previous league at novice
level or above with 6 or more competitors in the league and to have no more than 124 BD points.
Points will be awarded in the league classes at all levels as follows:

General Rules & Information








Horses/ponies not eligible to compete due to class restrictions or those horses/ponies down-graded by BD may compete but
must do so HC.
In all classes seniors and juniors compete together unless numbers permit otherwise. Juniors should be under 18 years old on
1st January 2013 and must state their date of birth on the entry form.
Seniors competing ponies will compete as seniors. Juniors competing horses will compete as juniors.
Horses/ponies may compete with one rider only. If the rider is changed during the league the horse/pony must continue to
compete at the same level as with the previous rider.
In all cases except class 1, it is the standard of the horse that counts, not the rider.
Only results from open competitions count.
The organisers have the right to alter /cancel classes & to return entries made in inappropriate classes.
