“Turkish Language Courses”
Course Schedule and Enrollment Form
Our courses are aimed at speaking and understanding the spoken
language in classes of 4 - 12 students .We know what you expect and we
teach the language in a way that is easier and rapidly understandable.
We will give you hand on tips to master the Turkish Grammar and in a
short while you will get to know that Turkish grammar is actually quite
easy if the set rules are followed. The grammar is so regular, unlike the
other European languages, that once you learn the rules all you have to
do is to apply them and with a little practice you can master them not in
months but just in a few days. Similar goes for the pronunciation. Unlike
other languages, something which makes Turkish very easy is that the
vocabulary in Turkish is pronounced as it’s written and therefore it
makes it quite comfortable to speak and read.
There are 5000 major words in Turkish which if you master then you can
easily understand and carry out day to day conversations whereas in
many European languages you need to know between 20000 - 40000
words to get familiar with casual chats.

reading, writing, listening, and speaking. A multi-skill approach is
adopted in teaching.
The course places equal emphasis on the training of standard
pronunciation, listening comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary

features are adopted in teaching. Grammar gradually moves from simple
to more complex elements. Students in this class learn the Turkish

basic grammar of the language. Students will be able to read and
understand authentic texts using the vocabulary and structures gained
through the first two semesters of Turkish.

Our top tips for learning Turkish are:
• Take regular lessons with a good teacher
• Set aside ten minutes every day to study a little Turkish using a study
book or notes you have made
• If you have Turkish friends in Hong Kong, try to practice speaking
Turkish to them.
• If you can watch Turkish Movie or TV (We recommend "soap operas"
where the storylines are simple and the context gives hints to what is
being said).
• When you have free time practice self reading. Children’s story books
can provide a charming way of reading a fairly simple language.
• Some Turkish newspapers have an online version. Try them out!
• A link to a wide variety of Turkish Language newspapers can be found
at www.gazetelerweb.com/
• Do you know that the BBC offers Turkish language pages?
www.bbc.co.uk/turkce/
•It is always better to do a little but often rather than a lot in one go and
then leave it for ages.
• Above all have fun and make it an enjoyable experience... if it seems
tedious to you then you are probably not making the most out of your
learning experience!
How to study
It is an important role-play by a good Turkish teacher in your learning,
but it is not all over to the teacher!
Learning Turkish also requires a little commitment and application on
your part between lessons. We will set some homework assignments
and tasks for you. Hopefully you will find these interesting as well as
educational.
A little bit often is the key!
