Preparations are underway for Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Sunday, Feb. 7.
Here are some traffic and roadway considerations of which to be aware, with the game taking place
so close to the Palmer campus:
 Tasman Drive will be closed from Great America Parkway to Calle Del Sol from Sunday, Jan.
31, to Tuesday, Feb. 9. Normal traffic may resume sooner than Feb. 9 (depending on when
temporary structures, including hospitality tents and road barriers, are removed). For additional
information regarding traffic considerations within the vicinity of the stadium:
http://www.santaclaraca.gov/visitors/santa-clara-sb50.
 VTA will restrict Light Rail service along Tasman Drive (near Levi’s Stadium) from Friday
evening, Feb. 5, to Sunday evening, Feb. 7. Trains traveling south will stop at the Great
America Parkway station, and trains traveling north will stop at the Lick Mill station. VTA will
run an alternate schedule Super Bowl weekend. Check www.vta.org/superbowlwd or call (408)
321-2300 for available service. Click here for information regarding the impact of Super Bowl
50 on CalTrain service.
 The campus will be open for standard Sunday hours on Feb.7. However, access to the Palmer
parking lot will be restricted to the entry-way via Baypointe Expressway (closest to NorthPark).
Display of Palmer-issued parking tags will be strictly enforced. Cars not displaying a Palmer
parking tag risk being towed at the owner’s expense.
