Mary Maring, Klein Maring Mediation Ms. Maring was appointed to the North Dakota Supreme Court on March 1, 1996 and served as a Justice on the Court until retirement on December 31, 2013. She authored 822 opinions and heard 3,200 oral arguments in almost eighteen years on the Court. Thomas R. Schultz Schultz & Pogue, LLP Thomas R. Schultz is a principal and trial attorney with Schultz & Pogue, LLP, in Indianapolis, Indiana, specializing in medical malpractice, product liability, and various tort and commercial litigation matters. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Defense Research Institute (DRI) serving as the North Central Regional Director until October 2015. Scott Nesvold, P.E. Crane Engineering Mr. Nesvold is an accomplished StructuralFire Protection Engineer with more than 10 yrs. of engineering experience. He provides expert consultation regarding building design, structural analysis and failure for all building types. James R. Panko, P.E Crane Engineering Mr. Panko has more than 11 yrs. of CivilStructural engineering experience in the industry. He provides specialty structural engineering analysis and design for complex structures and building components of static and dynamic structures. Troy Seibel N.D. Commissioner of Labor Mr. Seibel was appointed ND's Commissioner of Labor by Gov. Dalrymple in Sept. 2014. He oversees the ND Dept. of Labor and Human Rights, which is responsible for the enforcement and education of ND’s labor, human rights and housing laws. Prior to his appointment, Troy was an assistant attorney general with the ND Attorney General's office. Prior to joining the Attorney General's office, Troy was in private practice for 11 years. David W. Wilson LeClair Ryan David Wilson II practices in the area of business and construction litigation in both TX and NV. He has tried well over 100 cases as first chair lawyer in a variety of cases. He has also served as lead counsel in over 60 appellate cases, including at the TX Supreme Court. Consistent with his experience, his practice includes extensive trial and appellate representation as lead counsel, primarily on behalf of the construction, manufacturing, insurance and oil and gas industries. Hon. Daniel L. Hovland U.S. Federal Judge U.S. District Court Judge Daniel L. Hovland attended the University of N.D. Law School and graduated with distinction in May 1979. Hovland served for one year as clerk to Chief Justice Ralph J. Erickstad then worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of N.D. Hovland was nominated by President George W. Bush on June 26, 2002, confirmed by the U.S. Senate and sworn in on November 26, 2002.
