This checklist has been compiled by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority for
schools to use to ensure that all study plan requirements have been met before the study plan is
submitted for approval.
Instructions: Indicate Yes or No to the following statements. If your answer is No, please check
the SAS study plan requirements for the relevant information to complete your study plan.
Course organisation
The course organisation shows:

an overview of the four-semester course showing sequences of core and elective
study

proposed time allocation for each unit, ensuring the minimum number of hours of
timetabled school time for the four-semester course of study (220 hours)

units of work across the four-semester course of study that meet syllabus
requirements (Section 3.2 of the syllabus) by including:
 the core — Fashion fundamentals — integrated in units of work across
Semesters 1 and 2 and further developed in Semesters 3 and 4
 exploration of between two and six electives (fashion contexts)
 between two and four units of work in each year of the course. Each unit of work
is developed in a fashion context.
