Design Brief: In excess of 100 billion plastic bags are used in the one country every year Worldwide, an estimated 500 billion to 1 trillion plastic bags are used- most are sadly not reused which is a sheer waste. As we are aware plastic bags are recyclable, sadley than 3% of them actually are. The rest end up in landfills, oceans, and as litter. Plastic bags take roughly 1,000 years to decompose which essentially means that they sit filling our landfill sites releasing toxic chemicals into the earth/soil rather than being reused. You will need to design produce and evaluate your own eco bag. Considerations Constraints Evaluation criteria 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Research Aboriginal Artist: 1.
