LEAH Training Requirements 300 Hours 150 Clinical Hours - 100 hours (primary training site): Must be a participatory site where direct care is provided by LEAH fellow. 50 hours (other sites): Shadowing or observing at a minimum of 2 interdisciplinary secondary sites*. *Secondary sites will involve a minimum of 4 half-days at a clinic and can be shadowing, observation, or participatory experiences Required Clinical Experiences: Must observe or participate in care in at least 3 interdisciplinary settings (primary training site and 2 secondary sites). Your primary or one of your secondary sites must be the interdisciplinary Seattle Children’s Hospital Adolescent clinic. Must have 2 shadowing experiences with providers from each of the other 4 disciplines (i.e. Nutrition trainee must shadow medicine, social work, psychology and nursing). Shadowing sessions should be at least 4 hours long.
