Memories from France Alexandra and I were planning a trip to Capbreton from that day we heard that we are going to France, so it was really cool when we finally came there. And the first thing I thought when we landed to Biarritz was: “WOW it’s so warm and beautiful here!” Our families picked us up and I will just say that I’m so thankful to Zoé and her family! The thing I specially remember from the trip is when we went to “Dun De Pyla” It was so cool! Mountain of sand. I think that was the coolest place I had ever been to. Surfing was also great, but it was my first time and that’s why it was so hard! Students were really nice, but I really remember two students from Spain Irene and Adrian and Daniele from Italy. I’m really happy that I met them. Of course I’m really happy about I meeting everybody who was in Capbreton and I hope that someday we will meet again! The boring part of the trip was the disco and the closing ceremony! It was so sad to say goodbyes to persons we met in Capbreton :’( Thank you for the best week in my life! /Meri We surfed! And it’s was our first time. The coach gave us a wetsuit and a surfing board. And then we walked to the beach. The coach showed us how to surf on the land. And then we had to go to the sea! It was scary at first, but then, it was really fun! To catch the wave you had to paddle before the wave comes to you. It was really hard to stand up, but few of us could. After the surfing we were really tired. Our families came to the school and picked up us. I loved “Dun de pyla”, it was a big sand mountain. The biggest in Europe I think. We jumped down to the sand. And we played some fun games. The students were really nice to us! Everybody came around us. They asked us few things, like “What’s your name?” “Where are you from?” and so on. And they said very nice thing to us. It was a really great time there! We were with the students from the other countries. We were all friends! It was really sad to say goodbye to everyone. I don’t think we are going to see them again in our life. But I really hope to see them before I die! /Alexandra
