*Call to Worship
L:
Arise, shine, for your light has come and the
glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
P:
Darkness shall cover the earth and thick
in darkness the peoples; but the Lord
will rise upon you and his glory will be
seen upon you.
L:
Nations shall come to your light, and kings
to the brightness of your rising.
P:
Violence shall no more be heard in your
land, ruin or destruction within your
borders.
L:
The sun shall be no more your light by day,
nor for brightness shall the moon give light
to you by night.
P:
For the Lord will be your everlasting
light, and your God will be your glory.
*Statement of Faith: “We Are Not Alone”
(From the Iona Book of Common Worship)
L: We are not alone. We live in God’s world;
ALL: We believe in God, who has created and
is creating, who has come in Jesus to reconcile
and to make all things new. We trust God, who
calls us to be the church; to love and serve
others, to seek justice and to resist evil, to
proclaim Jesus, crucified, dead and risen; our
judge and our hope. In life, in death, in life
beyond death, God is with us: We are not alone.
Thanks be to God.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy
name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as
it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us
debts our as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us
from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the
glory, forever. Amen.
WE GO OUT TO SERVE GOD
*The Benediction
*Closing Chorus:
Walk with the Lord
Go from this place
filled with his everlasting grace.
Walk with the Lord
Go where he leads
blessed by his love and his peace
Each day you live in all you do
let the light of Christ be found in you
Walk with the Lord
Trust and obey
Go now and serve him in faith
Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.
