Bradbury Science Museum
The Bradbury Science Museum is the chief public facility of Los Alamos National Laboratory,
located at 1350 Central Avenue in Los Alamos, New Mexico, in the United States.

Los Alamos Historical Museum
The Historical Museum's address has changed to 1050 Bathtub Row. It is just off Central
Avenue and Bathtub Row, north of Fuller Lodge (It's tucked into the trees. Look for the small
wood and stone cabin with a big sign that says "Museum" hanging over the window.)

Whether you're driving on the Jemez Mountain National Scenic Byway, on your way to
Bandelier National Monument, or just looking for White Rock's spectacular Overlook Park,
please stop by and see us!

Directions from Los Alamos

Take Diamond Drive towards Los Alamos National Laboratory, passing Los Alamos Medical
Center. Cross Otowi Bridge and bear right. After passing the light, continue towards the
Laboratory Vehicle Access Portal. Take any lane indicated by the a green arrow. You must stop
and show your driver's license to the guard. Random searches are possible. Continue up Hwy
501, through Los Alamos National Laboratory. At the next stop sign, turn left onto New Mexico
4, following the sign towards Bandelier National Monument. Bandelier's entrance is on your
right. Have your fee (usually $12 per car -- see Reservations and Fees for details) ready. Most
visitors begin their exploration of Bandelier with a walk on the Main Loop Trail. This short 1.2
mile loop trail starts from the Visitor Center and leads through excavated archeological sites on
the floor of Frijoles Canyon. A portion of this trail is handicapped accessible. Other trails in this
area include the 3 mile round-trip Falls Trail to the beautiful Upper Falls and various trails of
different lengths and difficulty leading up to the mesa tops. The Tsankawi section of Bandelier
National Monument is 12 miles from the main section of the park. At Tsankawi you take a 1.5
mile walk along a mesa, viewing cavates, petroglyphs and the Ancestral Pueblo village of
Tsankawi. Climbing ladders is a required activity at this site.
