the performance task?
Task:
There has been much research done about the importance
of being bilingual. Some researchers said that people who
speak more than two languages score better on
Standardized test. Also, that we are living in a globalization
culture where an individual needs to be bilingual in order to
be productive in the job market. For this task, we are
concentrating only about being bilingual in the Unites
States. How important is to be bilingual?
What languages have higher use in the United States?
How much will you make if you are bilingual?
Which jobs require employees to speak more than one
language?
Title: The Importance of Being
Bilingual In the United States
The Spanish Club advisor has asked you to research the
Importance of Being Bilingual. You need to write a letter for
a bilingual grant about the importance of being bilingual in
the Unites States. The grant is a gift card for Barnes and
Nobles to purchase a literature book in Spanish to help you
improve in this language.
As part of your research, you have to read one article and
watch two videos that will help you to write the letter.
After you have reviewed these sources, you will answer
some questions.
