2014-2015 Grace Christian School Tuition and Fee Schedule TUITION - $4,738.00 Full year in advance payment by August 1st receives a 5% discount. Full tuition cannot be paid by credit card. FEES REQUIRED Annual Registration Fee $50.00 due with enrollment registration. Non-refundable. “NEW” Technology & Curriculum Fee – Due after July 15, must be paid prior to the start of the first day of class. Kindergarten through Fourth Grade $125.00 per student OR Fifth through Seventh Grade $175.00 per student This increased amount includes each 5th – 7th Grade student receiving a Chromebook. See Technology Agreement for further details. SCRIP Program Participation in the SCRIP program (see attached sheet regarding SCRIP information). SCRIP is a gift certificate program. A graduating scale will be applied for more than one student per family. Once the $150 profit is met with purchases 50% of any additional profit may be designated toward the following year’s tuition, the tuition assistance fund or capital improvement fund. The remaining 50% goes against the Tuition Assistance Fund. Classroom Supplies A list will be provided by the classroom teacher, example crayons, folder, glue stick etc. Field Trip expenses- Mainly for upper graders over night field trips, such as, Genesis Science Camp, Gold Rush Trip, State Capital, San Francisco etc. These classrooms are authorized to host fundraisers to defray the cost during the school year. VOLUNTARY Milk Program $7 per card – 20 milks per card, either white or chocolate Hot Lunch - $3.00 per meal Weekly Chapel Offering Booster Club and School annual fundraisers- Auction, tamale sale, magazine sale etc. Service Project opportunities at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter Fundraising Opportunities for the 4th – 6th Grade classes to help defray overnight field trips- Maverick coffee, See’s Candy, Snow Cones etc. After School and Holiday Childcare Registration- Annual onetime fee- $30.00 per child Childcare Program Before School Child Car 7-8:25 AM NO Charge After School Child Care 3:15-6 PM – Rate $5 per child for first hour, $1.25 per every 15 minutes after the initial first hour fee. Holiday Child Care- full day $30 (partial day rates not available) General Information Tuition and fees are reviewed annually by the Christian Education Board and Grace Lutheran Church Council. Tuition and other fees for the school are not deductible for tax purposes (IRS Revenue Ruling 83-104).
