10/23-24: DRJ meeting with Kleidons in Akron, integrating board suggestions for the film,
making some modifications to the content. Also strategizing on social media and PR plan (to give
funds like RxISK and others better visibility and connectedness to the Foundation pitch.)

11/12: DJ met with Jeff Singer (FEMHC DevAdvCom member) for 90 mins in his Chicago
office. Singer volunteered to host a reception at his condo for 6-8 high-potential names (5 to 6
figs?) from Chicago. Program: intro, film, guest speaker (W. Anthony?) Singer’s response to new
materials: “incredible”. DJ’s assessment: “100% on board”. Follow-up: DJ to phone Singer next
week, possibly to schedule event the following week.

11/12: Pat Stern met with Michael Tompkins in Atlanta. 60 min. visit. Tompkins on board of
Skyland Trail. Reasonable interest expressed. Tompkins to get back to Pat next week.

11/4: DJ met with John Nelson in Omaha. Reaction to the new materials: “seriously impressed”.
Referred to Don Cooper, Carleton classmate. Still aiming at $10-25 k. Talked about Howard
Hawks and Ken Stintson. Nelson will call Stintson first, whom he knows better, for a luncheon
with DJ (in 2 weeks time?). Follow-up: DJ to call next week.

11/14: DJ (with John Nelson) met with Robert Duncan, of Duncan Aviation. Has 30 autos
including Bentley. DJ will pitch for funds and also to join the DevAdvCom. Seriously considering
to join the DevAdvCom. Also, confidentially he has a niece with BP (diagnosed), age 16. Believes
in medical model, but DJ described the importance of research. Nelson opened the meeting very
well. Idea: $1 mm, for a fund for alternative treatments for bipolar, as John Nelson suggested after
the meeting. Follow-up: DJ to call 11/22.
