Maintenance Procedures
(This is a sample of a Maintenance Procedure which can be utilised and amended to suit your park’s own maintenance needs)

Staff Initials
All orders are to be made with the approval of managers.
Management uses the purchase order book to keep track of orders made where possible.
Cleaner/House keeper and Grounds staff are to advise management when chemicals are low so that further supplies
Cleaning can be obtained.
Manager to maintain back up stock of all chemicals and stationery supplies.
Orders are made on an as needed basis.
Oneshot: toilet bowl cleaner. Used neat, decanted into spray bottles.
Citrus Fresh: general cleaner and disinfectant. Use from
20ltr drum diluted down and marked ready for use - decanted into spray bottles for toilet cleaning.
Tilesmart Alkaline: floor cleaner. Use from 20ltr drum diluted down and marked ready for use. Pour about 2.5cm or
1 inch into the plastic cup and add to half a bucket of water
Cabins to mop the floors.
Grease Buster: BBQ cleaner. Use this neat decanted into the blue spray bottle.
Sinks: Spray Oneshot onto the taps and bowls. Wear gloves and rub into the sink and then rinse clean.
Toilet: Spray Oneshot under the rim and around the toilet pan, leave for about 10 minutes and then brush and flush. o Spray Citrus Fresh onto the outside of the pan and seat and wipe clean with a fresh cloth.
Mirrors: Spray with Vision glass cleaner and wipe clean with the micro fibre cloth.
Showers: Spray Oneshot onto taps and shower heads, rub and rinse. Wipe seats dry with a clean cloth.
Floors: Mop all floors with a weak solution of Tilesmart
Alkaline (marked ready to use).
Check if freezer needs defrosting
Clean bedroom area thoroughly with damp cloth and disinfectant
Clean mirrors and windows
Change shower curtains as and when needed
Sweep and mop floors
Strip and replace mattress protectors
Disinfect and clean bathroom and shower
Replace toilet rolls, reline sanitary bins etc
Wipe over chairs and tables

Ensure kitchen utensils are in the draws
Note any maintenance issues (i.e. dripping taps)
Once a day sweep out the kitchen, and wipe down the benches with Citrus Fresh.
Check and clean the microwaves, kettles, etc. Dust as appropriate.
Sweep and mop floors
Camp kitchen fridges – clean out?
Close off one side of the main facilities at a time. This will stop guests from disturbing you and stop them from walking on your clean wet floors before they are dry and also will avoid slip risks.
Spray toilets and spray sinks
Sweep floors, sweep entrance doorway under the mat
Wipe off sinks and rinse, brush and flush toilets
Spray outside of toilets and wipe, spray showers, mop floors starting at the toilets and finish off by rinsing shower taps and mopping the floor.
Check and refill toilet rolls.
Leave closed for 15 minutes. Go and clean a family room or the disability toilet. Come back and open the clean side of the toilet block, if the floor is still a bit damp use the broom and a dry towel and dry the floor with this.
Repeat.
Once a day sweep out the laundry.
Wipe the machines over with Citrus fresh, check and clear the lint catchers.
Sweep and wash laundry floor, wipe down all benches and sinks.
Clean windows.
Remove any rubbish.
BBQ’s: Spray Grease Buster onto a hot or cold plate, leave on for about 10 minutes and then rinse clean with water and wipe dry with cloth
Remove all rubbish, sweep surrounding area, clean the outdoor tables and chairs and report any maintenance issues.
Benches...
To be kept tidy at all times
Monitor stock levels and advise management when necessary
Keep doors closed and locked
Return all equipment to appropriate places
Maintenance is to be coordinated by the managers.
Any specific job being done is to have minimal impact on guests.

Remove any rubbish from perimeters.
Watering is to be carried out as necessary with consideration to water restrictions if in place.
Mowing is to be done on a regular basis.
Tree branches trimmed where necessary and fallen branches removed
All areas affected by clippings are to be swept immediately after mowing.
Machinery is to be cleaned and serviced after use and any breakdowns should be reported to management.
All maintenance and servicing is to be carried out by appropriate staff or mechanics/contractors etc.
