Students majoring in Psychology and planning to apply for early admission to the Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology
program must complete the requirements for the Psychology major and the General Education Core requirements the first
three years of study. Completion of these sets of requirements will take careful planning; therefore, you should consult
with your academic advisor on a regular basis. The following is a suggested three-year plan.

NOTE: Electives may be taken in any semester and may involve combinations of 1, 2, or 3 credit hour elective offerings. Students
opting for the Child and Adolescent Concentration substitute their 6 hours of electives for PSY-671 Child and Adolescent
Psychopathology (Year II, Fall), PSY-674 Advanced Treatment Strategies with Children, Adolescents, and their Families (Year I,
Winter), and complete 3 additional hours of child or adolescent electives in Year II (with the optional Child and Adolescent
Concentration, the MHC program is extended to 63 hours).
