I am also looking for same solution
Did you guys got the solution. When i click already existing Infopath form (for editing), it should get opened
in the sharepoint page (Webpart).
Even i used a Form Viewer webpart for new form creation and saving.
Any infomation will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I attempted assigning the aspx page to the form content type url. InfoPath
attempted to open the aspx page itself instead of the template. Definitely
worth the try to see what happened.
I could provide a link to create new Requisitions, but this does not solve
the problem of displaying existing ones inside the SharePoint environment.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Embedding InfoPath form into SharePoint
I am wanting to host a InfoPath form inside of SharePoint. So far, I have
done the following:
1. Added the XmlFormView as a Safe Control web part in SharePoint
2. Created a InfoPath form template (Requisition).
3. The submit action in the form sends the form to a SharePoint Form
library located at http://moss/Requisition
4. Deployed the InfoPath form as a Administrative-approved Form template.
5. Uploaded form template and activated it to my site collection
6. Modified the form library to allow content types... Added the InfoPath
form Requisition content type to the form library.
7. Created a web part page and added the XmlFormView web part http://moss/Docs/Documents/Requisition.aspx
8. Set the editing status to editing
9. Set the xsnLocation to http://moss/FormServerTemplates/Requisition.xsn
10. The InfoPath form show up on the page.
Question is: How do I tie the form library to the web part page so when I
click new in the form library it brings up the web part page. Also if I
click on one of the saved requisitions, it will bring it up in the web part
page.

If you need to tie up form to the form library, you need not set up the
XMLFormView yourself.
See this, you missed the step of adding the content type to form library.

Thanks for replying Madhur.
Thanks for replying Madhur. I did perform the associating the content type
with the form library. The reason I am using the XmlFormView is to maintain
a SharePoint experience. When you click new or edit, the form shows up in
the browser window without SharePoint surrounding it. Some users have a
tendency to want to close the browser window, thus they have to open up
another browser window to get back to SharePoint.
My goal is to host the InfoPath form inside of the SharePoint environment.
So I want to embed the InfoPath form inside a web part page using the
XmlFormView. But I don't know how to tie the web part page to the form
library. When I press the new button or edit a infopath form in the form
library, I need it display the infopath form in my web part page.

Ok, Got you. For this, go to manage content types in Site Settings. If
its a form library, you need
to modify the Form content type, go to its advanced settings. There
you can specify the URL of the template to be used.
Hopefully you can specify your aspx URL there.
But I have other recommendations
' Rather than modifying the default form content type, create a new CT
which inherits from it and add that to your library.
' Why not simply provide your users the URL to the page, rather than
allowing them to click New and then open the page.
