We at SABBSA hope you are having a great summer! This month’s Communiqué newsletter contains a listing of
creationist science predictions that have come true or been validated which should occur regularly if scientific
creationism is good predictive science as we say it is. Also included in this article are predictions of what science
should find in the future if our worldview of science and nature are correct.
We also have a review and analysis of the latest “Jurassic World” movie telling how this movie fits in with
evolutionary mythology parading as science so prevalent in our society today. Finally, we have an article showing a
connection between the startling Supreme Court decision on gay marriage and the creation account. Of course we
will also list all of the upcoming creation events in our area. Have a great July!

Successful Predictions by
Creation Scientists
If creation science is to be taken seriously it must be able to make
predictions about the physical world and the universe which can be
investigated and verified. If creation science is as we creationists contend
good science, as opposed to naturalism, this is especially true as our model should be more predictive of our world
and universe than naturalism if it is the better model of nature. We refer you first to “Real Science Radio’s” List of
Creation Science Predictions* General Science Predictions: Here are some of the general predictions from Real Science Radio:
- A systematic assessment of mutations in fossils will show far fewer mutations as compared to today.
- More single-genome orphan genes will be found than "evolutionary" families of genes.
- Evolutionists will never discover insects that have (for ex.) hearing, that previously had no ears.
- Uncontaminated and non-radioactive amber, even allegedly from 300 Mya, will have significant Carbon 14.
- The evolutionary assumption that sponges must have the ultimate stem cells will never be validated.
- As evolutionary geneticists were shocked by the virtually identical genetic programming for echolocation in both
dolphins and bats (yet without a similarly equipped common ancestor), and likewise by the extraordinarily similar
gene complex enabling human and parrot vocalization (yet without a similarly equipped common ancestor, which
examples stretch the claim of "convergent evolution" to the breaking point), RSR predicts that this pattern will
repeat, whereby virtually identical complex genetic coding will be found in organisms without a similarly equipped
common ancestor, in both the plant and animal kingdoms, and between humans and other organisms.
- A factor in our worldwide mitochondrial DNA lineages is the genetic bottleneck of three women (Confirmed by
finding that all the world’s women generally fall into one of three different groups of mitochondrial DNA
corresponding to the three women who restarted the human race after the flood, the wives of Noah’s sons).
- A factor in the extreme chromosomal diversity in Africa will be found to be attributable to the relationship
of Canaan and two of his brothers.
- The Russians will find that their 2-mile deep bore hole into Lake Vostok in Antarctica will provide unexpected
evidence that seems to contradict their belief that it has been sealed off by ice from the surface for 15 million
years. Confirmed!
- Asteroids will be shown to have debris fields orbiting them.
- Impactors that hit the near side of the Moon have hit with more force than those that hit the far side.
- The rocking of the near side of the Moon is slowing, but not discernibly only over millions of years as expected
by the evolutionary time frame, but far more rapidly, as will be confirmed by photographic records, not over eons
but over decades. Likewise, if more early drawings of the moon are found, or perhaps just reexamined, we may find
that they reveal features that cannot be seen from Earth today.
- On the day before NASA's launch of two GRAIL ships headed for the moon to explore its interior, RSR
predicted that the evidence will show that impactors have hit the near-side of the Moon far more severely than the
far side.
* Dinosaur Soft Tissue Predictions: Regarding still soft tissue and other endogenous (original) biological material
from dinosaur-layer (and deeper) strata, here are Real Science Radio predictions:
- Original dinosaur and other soft tissue will be found largely independent of the claimed age of the
fossil. Confirmed in April 2014! See the upcoming RSR update on a paper in the Journal of Paleontology that has
confirmed original soft tissue in Precambrian fossilized "beard worms" that are allegedly 530 million years old!
- For now, dinosaur soft tissue will be found not only in rare circumstances, but rather easily, i.e., when looked for.
(Mark Armitage, the scientist fired from California State University for publishing extraordinary photos of soft
tissue from a Triceratops, independently made this prediction and repeated it on the Sept. 5, 2014 RSR program ;)
- Biological material will be found independent not only of alleged age (whether tens of thousands or hundreds of
millions of years old), but also significantly independent of the specimen's environment, that is, whether preserved
by mummification or encased in amber, sandstone, marine sediments, etc. (Ice, of course, would do much better.)
- Even endogenous dinosaur soft tissue will have 14C (whenever tested for), arguing strongly against
contamination.
- Allegedly million-to-billion year old proteins that are sequenced will demonstrate that "advanced" proteins, like
those for building nervous systems, muscles, etc., did not "get into" modern genomes by horizontal gene transfer
from "modern species", but that they were there all along, i.e., from long before they were "needed", in the
evolutionary paradigm, to accomplish such higher functions. (This also would falsify Neo-Darwinism because
evolution is acknowledged to lack goal-oriented, forward-looking planning.)
- Mostly left-handed amino acids will be found extensively (whenever tested for) in dino tissue.
- Evolutionists presuming that dino soft tissue lasts indefinitely will be surprised to find it decreasingly
discoverable in the 2020s, 2030s, 2040s, etc.
- An awareness will set in that just as evolutionary assumptions led to the lost decades of dismissing function for a
majority of our genome, and for dismissing exploration of function in vestigial organs, also, a century of lost
opportunity has passed during which vast quantities of otherwise discoverable biological material has disappeared
forever, all because Darwinism led scientists to believe it was ridiculous even to look for it (just as they now claim
it is ridiculous to carbon date diamonds, etc.).
- The exact same specimens will be claimed to be both contaminated and uncontaminated. Where amino acid and
radiocarbon testing is done on soft tissue, evolutionists will claim that (allegedly old) uncontaminated soft tissue is
simultaneously contaminated by (short-lived) Carbon 14 and left-handed amino acids. The lack of contamination
that enables the identification of original tissue is confirmed (by genetic sequencing, immunological tests, etc.)
whereas the (allegation of) contamination of short-lived radiocarbon and non-racemized acids is usually not
confirmed but only assumed. Evolutionists are thereby alleging that complex biological molecules endure not only
with the randomizing effects of molecular motion, changes in temperature, etc., for 68M, 80M, 150M, 190M, 350M
years, and more, but also multiple processes of contamination which (allegedly) include the introduction of lefthanded amino acids and modern carbon.
- Mary Schweitzer will be widely shown to be wrong in her published claim that biological iron is the preservative
that enables soft tissue to survive for millions of years. This "iron chealator" rescue device will be falsified for
many reasons including the realization that many specimens of recovered soft tissue are not associated with heavy
deposits of biological iron. Further, which of the typical decomposition factors would iron interfere with:
hydrolysis, chemotropism, microbes, cyclical temperatures, friction, oxidation, autolysis, radioactive decay?
- Regardless of the alleged antiquity of fossils (from one thousand years to one billion, and more), molecular
research will demonstrate the same astounding biochemical precision as among today's species, if not more so. RSR
predicted this on April 9, 2014 based on the creationist worldview (something that Bill Nye and Tyson deGrasse
recently said was impossible). Over the course of only four days, God created all biological life. And
almost immediately afterward, life's physical processes began deteriorating, such that fossil biochemical evidence
will show only that life's current molecular sophistication was there from life's earliest (i.e., lowest) geologic
record.
* Psychological Predictions: Human beings are mentally degenerating, making this a risky RSR venture, however:
- Fifty years after anatomists showed that the human eye is not wired backwards, evolutionists will still claim it is.
- The frequency of claims of observed alien spaceships will diminish proportionately with the prevalence of videocapable cell phones.
- Richard Dawkins will never withdraw, nor ever repeat, his claim made out of evolutionary bias that the human
eye was poorly designed because it was wired backwards.
- By 2020, mainstream science sources will stop pre-dating the big bang theory to the 1920s. (Pre-dating the theory
aided in the canonical narrative that it "predicted" the apparent expansion of the universe.)
* Real Science Radio's Confirmed Predictions:
- 1995 prediction: that the Hubble Deep Field images of distant galaxies would look basically like nearby galaxies.
- 1998 prediction: to Eugenie Scott that it was wrong for anti-creationists like her to characterize DNA as Junk.
- 2007 prediction: vindicated that evolutionists would ignore the greatest paleontological discovery ever made
(discovery of soft tissues in dinosaur bones).
- 2012 prediction: a virtual laboratory experiment, alleged 15-millions in the making, dashed the hopes of
Darwinists everywhere when Antarctica's isolated 2-mile deep Lake Vostok revealed thousands of modern species
that "usually live in ocean or lake sediments", said Bowling Green State University biology professor Scott Rogers.
On the air in 2012, Real Science Radio's Bob Enyart and Fred Williams confidentially predicted that evolutionists
would not find 15 million years worth of evolution in Lake Vostok.
- 2013 prediction:, Bob Enyart and flood expert Kevin Lea predicted that one day asteroids will be shown to have
greater-than-expected debris fields orbiting them. Four months later the 1.7-mile-wide asteroid "QE2" passed the
Earth at a distance of 3.6 million miles with its own moon in tow! And then on January 27, 2015, NASA announced
that the 1,100-foot asteroid "2004 BL86" passed the Earth with its own 230-foot diameter moon in tow.
- 2014 prediction: in a partial confirmation of a RSR prediction of more discoveries of biological matter in space,
an astronaut collected sea plankton from the outside of the International Space Station.
- 2014 prediction: [as noted above] Listen to this February 2014 program that predicted that original dinosaur and
other soft tissue will be found largely independent of the claimed age of the fossil. This was confirmed with a
discovery, reported in April 2014, of original soft tissue in Precambrian fossilized "beard worms" that are allegedly
530 million years old! See the upcoming RSR update on a paper in the Journal of Paleontology.
The Bill Nye & Neil deGrasse Tyson Irony: When Bill Nye and Neil deGrasse Tyson said recently that
creationists cannot make scientific predictions that would be later confirmed, ironically, they helped to publicize the
many astounding confirmed predictions of creation scientists!
* Other Creationist Predictions Confirmed: In addition to Walt Brown's confirmed predictions (below) of pooled
water under mountains, salt on Mars, asteroids being low-density rock piles, and carbon-14 in million-year-old
bones, Ken Ham's Answers in Genesis lists many other confirmed predictions including:
- the approximate strengths and decay rates of the magnetic fields of Mercury, Neptune, and Uranus
- the detailed published prediction, powerfully contrary to old-earth expectations, of the amount of helium retained
in allegedly billion-year-old zircon crystals
- the distribution and volume of polonium halos, created by radioactive decay, in sandstone deposits.
Finally, to reiterate, many confirmed creationist predictions were inherent in the work of many of the
greatest fathers of the physical sciences, like Kepler, Newton, and Kelvin, who were motivated by their creationist
worldview.
* Obvious Implications/Predictions of Young Earth Creationism: Whether or not any creation scientist ever got
around to framing these as predictions, here are a few obvious implications of biblical creationism.
- In a big picture and sweeping manner, genetic sequences will not adhere to the tree of life concept
- The tree of life will fail in all kinds of ways as a predictive tool, including for Darwinian competition
- Neanderthal are human beings, for ex., per Jack Cuozzo in 1979 as then confirmed by their speech and genome
- Genesis taken literally predicts unexpected worldwide Y-chromosome and mitochondrial DNA similarity and
genetic research will continue to rediscover the history of Genesis (see rsr.org/canaan#science) with Jews and
Arabs descended from Abraham, the discovery of mitochondrial Eve, Y chromosomal Adam, the overall genetic
bottleneck of the flood, mankind's distribution from Babel, and the Jewish priestly genetic marker (from the book
of Exodus). Secular research consistent with Scripture for example includes the papers
in Nature and Science calculating that most of mankind's genetic diversity arose not in an alleged million-year
evolutionary timeframe but rather, in historical (i.e. biblical) times.
- Astronomy discoveries will not generally fulfill predictions of the big bang (as documented through the year 2014
atrsr.org/big-bang-predictions), including for example regarding antimatter, elemental abundances, monopoles, the
CMB, and that nearby galaxies will not show greater clustering as compared to the most distant galaxies.
* Our Favorite Scientist's Confirmed Predictions: Dr. Walt Brown earned his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering
from MIT. See his many creationist predictions and those already fulfilled, including:
- pooled water under mountains (confirmed)
- many fossilized whales at the base of Andes
- deep channels under the Bosporus & Gibraltar (confirmed)
- Earth is shrinking
- granite layer deep under Pacific floor
- sequence of ages wrong for Hawaiian islands
- Grand Canyon’s inner gorge is a tension crack
- no fossils, coal, or strata below frozen mammoths
- salt on Mars (confirmed)
- mass of solar system heavier than expected
- excess heavy hydrogen in very deep water
- Oort cloud does not exist
- no incoming hyperbolic comets
- asteroids are low-density flying rock piles (confirmed; and again in 2014)
- rapidly spinning asteroids are well-rounded
- asteroid rocks are magnetized
- water is inside large asteroids (confirmed in 2014)
- little radioactivity on Moon, Mars
- carbon-14 in “old” bones (confirmed)
- rocks on asteroids and comets are rounded (confirmed in 2014)

For many years, creation researchers have been studying the biblical record and the world around us to
understand the history that God’s Word records. While some of their theories have been discarded as new
data came to light, other predictions have been powerfully confirmed. Here are just a few of those
predictions and the tests that confirmed them:
Prediction 1: Strength of the Planets’ Magnetic
Fields
There is evidence that every planet and large moon in our solar system, including earth, has—or once had—a
magnetic field surrounding it. And since the earth’s creation, its field has been steadily decaying (losing strength),
for which Horace Lamb created a model over 100 years ago. More recently (1984), creationist physicist D. Russell
Humphreys developed a theory to explain the strength of the magnetic fields of the earth and the other planets.
Test Result: Voyager 2’s Measurements
If the earth were even 20,000 years old, its magnetic field would have been so strong as to make life impossible,
based on the present rate of decay. The theories of Humphreys and Lamb can be used to determine how much the
magnetic field of an astronomical object should decay after 6,000 years at the present decay rate. The numbers that
resulted from Humphreys’ theory not only matched the strengths of the known magnetic fields at the time but also
successfully anticipated Voyager 2’s measurements of the magnetic field of Uranus (in 1986) and Neptune (in
1990). These results not only confirmed a creationist theory but also helped confirm that the solar system really is
as young as the Bible claims.

Prediction 2: Decay and Helium Release (RATE)
When radioactive elements, such as uranium, decay, particles are released. These particles include helium atoms,
which are “slippery” and make their way out of the crystals where they are formed. If uranium has been decaying at
the present slow rate over millions and billions of years, most of the helium should have slipped out of rock
crystals. If, in contrast, the earth is young and radioactive decay was much more rapid in the past, then we would
expect to find lots of helium in the earth’s rocks.
Test Result: New Mexico Drill Site
When rock was tested from a drill site in Fenton Hill, New Mexico, large amounts of helium in crystals were found.
This suggests not only that those crystals are only thousands of years old, but also that lots of radioisotope decay
(which would require more than a billions of years at today’s rates) had to occur in only thousands of years. This in
turn suggests that nothing on the earth can be dated any older than the Bible indicates.
Prediction 3: Radiohalos in Sandstones
Radiohalos are the evidence of damage caused when radioactive elements within rocks break down. The
breakdown of uranium also creates the fast-decaying radioactive element polonium. Geologist Andrew Snelling
suggested that if water flowed rapidly through a rock at the time uranium was rapidly decaying, polonium could be
concentrated in a separate place from the uranium. If Snelling’s theory were correct, geologists would expect to
find more polonium halos wherever additional water was passing through the rock.
Test Result: Smoky Mountains
When Snelling examined metamorphosed sandstones in the Smoky Mountains, he found exactly what he had
predicted. Not only do these polonium halos confirm this creationist theory, but they also suggest that many
processes were more rapid in the past. Radioactive decay, metamorphism, and cooling of rocks must have been
more rapid in the past to fit into a biblical understanding of earth history.

Prediction 4: Cold Material near the Earth’s Core
In the early 1980s, physicist John Baumgardner developed a creationist theory for the rapid motion of the earth’s
crust during the Flood. His theory suggested that the “cold” crust, located beneath the pre-Flood oceans, should
have sunk the full 1,800 miles (2900 km) to the base of the earth’s hot mantle, where the temperatures are up to
7,232°F (4000°C). This crust would have melted if it had millions of years to reach the base of the mantle, sinking
as slowly as today’s rates. On the other hand, if it sank quickly 4,350 years ago, as Baumgardner’s theory
suggested, then piles of those plates should still be found at the base of the mantle, cooler than the mantle around
them.
Test Result: Mantle Discovery
It took ten more years before scientists developed the technology capable of “seeing” something like that at the
base of the mantle. When that technology was developed, the cold material was discovered, just as Baumgardner’s
model had expected. This successful prediction suggests that Baumgardner’s model is true. It also suggests that
continents moved rapidly during the Flood and that the Flood occurred only thousands of years ago, just as the
Bible suggests.

Prediction 5: Reversal of Earth’s Magnetic Field
All magnetic fields have two distinct poles, a north and a south, and so it is with the earth. At various times in the
past, however, the earth’s magnetic field has actually switched directions. In each case, the North Pole switched
with the South Pole. Since volcanic lava, as it cools, records the direction of the magnetic field at the time of the
cooling, the rocks of the earth have recorded these flips of the magnetic field. In 1986, however, D. Russell
Humphreys suggested that the turmoil of the Flood caused the magnetic field of the earth to flip rapidly during the
Flood. If so, the field must have flipped every couple of weeks or so.
Test Result: Steens Mountain Record
In 1988, a basalt flow was found at Steens Mountain in southern Oregon that did indeed record a flip in the earth’s
magnetic field. So far, the only way to explain such a rapid reversal is by the disruption of the young earth’s
magnetic field during a global Flood—just as the Bible claims.

Jurassic World vs. Our World
It’s unlikely we will ever be able to resurrect a dinosaur
from ancient DNA. DNA cannot be recovered from
mosquitoes trapped in amber, and it’s not stable enough to
survive in dinosaur remains for millions of years. Even with
access to a complete dinosaur genome, scientists would
face probably insurmountable technical hurdles if they tried
to convert the genome into a living, breathing creature.
For one thing, while we have “mapped” 92% of our
genome, we understand only about 1.2% of what it says
since that is all that we think we have decoded. WE are far from being able to insert instructions into
genomes we have not yet decoded and do not know what they are coding for. If we ever are able to
decode all of a genome and understand what all of its instructions mean, then when we “design” a
dinosaur or recreate one which existed before, we will be doing exactly what evolutionists say never
happened. We will be designing and creating life, not having it occur by chance.
Another is the fiction that we can just plug in portions of other species DNA and make our own dinosaur
or “patch” up missing pieces in any genome. Genomes of closely related species on rare occasions are
similar enough to do this, but the genomes of separate kinds (families of animals) are far too dissimilar to
get any useful DNA from which to patch such missing or degraded pieces of a DNA strand.
Still, some researchers—such as legendary paleontologist Jack Horner think we might be able to
recreate dinosaurs by manipulating the developmental process of chickens (and other birds) to turn them
into dinosaur-like creatures. This is not based on credible science, but purely upon Horner’s and others
unsubstantiated “faith” that dinosaurs evolved into birds and that dinosaur DNA leftovers are still there
latent in the bird DNA to help foster such a recreation. This is as big a fiction as the movie.
As for the movie it is very entertaining and we get another special effects spectacular for dinosaur lovers.
It features many very interesting “theme park” markers such as a dinosaur “petting zoo” and a Mosasaur
which is treated like Shamu!
I wish they had spent more time setting up the story and letting us just enjoy the dinosaur park longer (as
their tourists were) before everything fell apart as it would invariably do or we would not have a dinosaur
movie. Also, the part about training velociraptors is pure fiction and has no basis in paleontology.
This brings us to the caution the public should know about in watching all of these films. They are pure
fantasy and not even good science fiction. Good science fiction is based in science which is plausible
and could occur in an advanced future. This film, like the others in this series, not only does not give us
that, but it is consistently inaccurate with its dinosaur portrayals. Velociraptors were never as big as
shown in these films and we know nothing of their IQ or speed. The Mosasaur portrayed in this film is as
much as three times bigger than any fossil of a Mosasaur yet found.
But, the biggest miss in these movies is the underlying evolutionary foundation and its convoluted
intertwining of design. In the earlier movies the dinosaurs were designed not to produce a specific
enzyme lysine which supposedly made them controllable and containable. That is another example from
our “we cannot do this list” in that we do not understand the coding for such genetic instructions. If we did
then we would first be designing them (a God thing which evolutionists reject) and second it would mean
that we had decoded the other 98% of the DNA which we have yet to decode which gives instructions on
when and how to use the 1-2% of protein coding instructions we call genes.
So we move from a by no means “minor” design implementation in the first films to a completely
designed dinosaur in this film. To do this we would either need to have decoded the other 98% of the
genome (which we have not), or we would (as they infer in the film) be dependent on using groupings of
DNA pieces from related species having their genomes so similar random parts of their genomes can be
inserted at will to add traits, functions or instructions. This ignores the fact that there is absolutely no
scientific research to back up the use of different genomes in this way and thus this again falls into the
realm of fantasy passing as science fiction. It is all based again on the foundational lie that all creatures
were produced by random chance mutations and that their genomes cannot be that complex or tough to
recreate with proper research. The truth is very different.
Your genome is a carefully designed assemblage of over three billion bits of chemical computer code
using four base letters. It not only demonstrates the use of advanced data compression and short cut
assembler language for loops such as we have in our C++ and Linux computer languages, but it exhibits
three dimensional data storage and coding on a level beyond our current computer technology or
understanding. To say that the general public is being badly misled as to the state of our science or the
truth of what dinosaur recreation would entail is an understatement. But, even worse is the overall
message that these animals, like all creation occurred by chance and in doing so we deny the genius
and presence of our Creator.
I have loved the Jurassic series since the first story came out since I love the special effects and have
always been fascinated by dinosaurs. But, the effect these stories have had on our populace to
repeatedly underscore the evolutionary worldview is very saddening to me, when they could instead
have been used to tout the brilliance and power of our God and Creator!
The Supreme Court and our Society
Probably all of you know that the U.S. Supreme Court took the debate over gay marriage out of the
hands of the states and our society and declared gay marriage to be legal. To do this they had to ignore
the Bible, tenants of Western Civilization for more than 2000 years and common sense in order to invent
a right not mentioned in the Constitution. As Justice Scalia said, this is an assault on our society where
five justices decided for all of us what is right and wrong.
Unfortunately, we should have seen this coming. For more than two decades I have been doing a
presentation called at first Creation and the Courts and now re-titled “The DeFaithing of America.” In
that talk we make the case that all of this did not occur overnight. It has been in the works for the past
century. In particular the gay rights movement has been the targeted goal of both Hollywood and the
liberal media for the past four decades. We now have two generations of Americans which have been
inundated by this media onslaught and now believe that right is wrong and wrong is right. That is all they
have seen on TV, movies and in print (anywhere but the church) for four decades and we should not now
be surprised that this is what they believe and how they will vote!
The goal of Satan is always to deceive and prevent people from coming to Christ. It is his signature to
have pulled off a long term plan which has now taken the rainbow, which God gave us as an assurance
that He would never again destroy the world via flood and in so doing symbolized what Christ would be
to us as an Ark and savior to save us from our sin. That beautiful symbol has now been distorted to be
the symbol for doing exactly what God forbade in both the Old and New Testaments.
Christ himself when asked about marriage referred to what was written in Genesis and validated that
originally marriage was set up as a union between one man and one woman. The lie that Christ never
took a stand on gay marriage and everything else in this debate shows that the goal of Satan is not only
to invent gay rights, but to divorce us completely from our origins in Genesis. Gay rights is only one
prong in an overall assault on the foundations of our society and western civilization which was based on
the Bible. It has been Satan’s goal for the past century to discredit the Bible as myth, to paint it as
unscientific and passé, and now that this lie is firmly ingrained in the minds of two generations of
Americans, it is now time to for him to lead our society completely away from scripture as our guide and
unfortunately our society has been properly conditioned by Satan and ourselves to happily follow! Pray
for a great awakening and repentance in this nation. Our need is great and the hour is late.
SABBSA at the 4th Annual
Rio Grande Valley Home School Conference
For the second year in a row SABBSA had a booth, provided creation materials to those in the Rio
Grande Valley and made creation presentations for home school families there. Thanks to the Rio
Grande Valley home schools for inviting us and to Mr. Jerry Jones who was instrumental in the set-up,
tear down and manning of our booth the whole day!
“Made in His Image” at FEAST this Year!
FEAST has again entrusted us with providing their science workshops this year.
Fall topics will include “Dinosaurs and Man” as well as “The Ice Age.” In the
spring we will feature the Institute for Creation Research’s new series “Made in
His Image.” Look for a full schedule of these events in next month’s newsletter.
Thanks to Dr. Carl and Cindy Williams who have again agreed to provide the very popular young
children’s “hands on” programs which run concurrently with our adult and youth presentations.
October 13 - Bruce Malone of “Search for Truth Ministries”
We are pleased to announce that Bruce Malone, the head of “Search for Truth
Ministries” as well a prolific author and creation speaker will join us on
October 13 at our monthly meeting. Bruce will give a presentation that night
titled “Brilliant” which gives us a glimpse of the material in his new book of the
same title. This talk makes it clear that ancient man was “brilliant” and not an
ignorant cave dwelling ape man as our secular society believes. This is well in
line with the Bible and scientific research and very supportive of our creation
worldview. We look forward to Bruce’s presentation in October!

Prayer Needs and Praises!
John Morris is recovering from a stroke as he continues a long term battle with MS. John is the long
time President of the Institute for Creation Research, a PhD Geological Engineer, and one of the
most prominent writers, researchers, and leaders in creation science. Pray for miraculous healing! Dr.
Morris is also giving up his post as President of ICR due to his health and we ask for prayer for the
leadership ICR as they go forward.
Sue Stepanek is battling cancer. Surgery went well but recovery is slow due to her also having Celiac
Disease which was discovered only after surgery. Sue is the wife of Richard Stepanek who speaks for
Alpha Omega Institute. Pray for complete recovery. God be praised! Sue was able to make the “Texas
Swing” with Richard and she says she is recovering slowly but surely and thanks us for our prayers!
Answers in Genesis and their Ark Encounter project have come under intense political attack and the
state of Kentucky has now rescinded their rights to tax incentives provided to all tourist attractions such
as them. AiG has had to sue the state of Kentucky to try and get back the tax incentives provided to all
tourist attractions in Kentucky. Please pray that God will restore these tax incentives to Ark Encounter.
Dr. Carl Williams Dr. Williams and his wife Cindy are board members with SABBSA. Dr. Williams has
learned of the return of his prostate cancer which had been in remission for the last four years. Please
pray for healing and support for this brother and his family.
Alpha Omega Institute (AOI) is in dire need of funds to finance their speaker and support staff salaries,
sponsor their summer programs and college seminars, as well as to support the “kick off’ of their new
training institute. We ask that you both pray for their needs and the success of their ministry as well as
pray as to whether you need to be one to support them financially.

The Last Month at SABBSA
Formed out of Water and by Water
In the first verses of Genesis, Earth was created with an apparently
unbroken surface of water over the "deep". Later the water was divided
into a part above and a part below by an "expanse" called "heaven". Still
later dry land was brought up out of the waters below. Further in 2 Peter
3:5 we are told that the Earth "was formed out of water and by water". So clearly water
played a central role in the physical creation of Earth. Many of us have marveled at these things,
but wondered about the details that might be involved.
On June 9th, Richard Stepanek from Alpha Omega Institute presented his talk titled Water,
Water, Everywhere! He showed us an abundance of amazing facts about the role of water in
the creation around us that the materialists simply would not expect. He also showed us how
scripture intimates that water was the first material made by God and that all other matter was
created from this initial substance! His analysis of Genesis chapter 1 was fascinating! This is an
amazing and God honoring presentation for layman and scientists alike.
