7th Grade History September
9-1 to 9-4
Tuesday: Students will learn about the Kushites and how they influenced Egypt. They will
complete reading notes as they read.
**Homework: Students will be given back their DBQs from last week and have a chance to redo them. Due on Friday.
Wednesday: Students will finish reading about the Kushites and complete a closing activity for
the chapter
Thursday: Students will be given the day to work on this weeks DBQ, due Friday
**Homework: Finish DBQ
Friday: Students will begin learning about the Origins of Judaism and how it impacted Egypt.
9-8 to 9-11
Tuesday: Students will work on completing Chp. 11
**Homework: Students were given their weekly DBQ, due Friday!
Wednesday: Students will finish Chp. 11 and begin Chp. 12
**No new homework was given
Thursday: Students will finish Chp. 12. Then they will be introduced to their final project and
can start brainstorming.
**Homework: Finish DBQ
Friday: Students will begin research for their final project. I will assign the due date early next
week.
9-15 to 9-18
Tuesday-Thursday: We are starting our Egyptian Project this week! Students will have 3 days
to research their project in class.
**Thursday Homework: Bring in any supplies for your project that you do not already have in
class.
7th Grade History September
Friday: Students will begin assembling their projects, I have gathered some boxes and cardboard
for the students to use if they wish. They will also have 3 days in class next week to work on
their projects. Final due date is Friday 9/25 at the beginning of class.

9-22 to 9-25
Tuesday-Thursday: Students will work on putting their final projects together. Due on Friday.

Friday: Students will present their projects to the class.
9-29 to 10-2
Tuesday-Wednesday: Students will complete an introduction activity to Ancient China.
**Homework: Weekly DBQ due on Friday
Thursday: Students will read Chp. 19 and complete reading notes.
Friday: Students will finish Chp. 19 and write an SCR over the chapter.
