The Waste 2 Resource Education Program is a free environmental education program designed
specifically for Sunshine Coast residents. Take advantage of our free Guest Speaker presentations
or arrange a bus and come participate in a Recycling and Resource Recovery Centre tour.
Guest Speaker presentations
Presentations range from 30 minutes to 1hour,
depending on group requirements.
Recycling and Waste Management on the

Learn more about what Sunshine Coast Council
are doing to minimise and manage waste in your
local area. Find out just what can go in your
recycling bin and discover why the Resource
Recovery Centre is much more than an old
dump.
Composting at Home:
Worm Farming at Home:
You can halve your weekly waste levels with
backyard organic recycling. We can show you
how to set up a compost bin and help solve
some of those problems you might be having
with your own at home. Sunshine Coast Council
will donate a compost bin to every group that
participates. A compost bins makes a great raffle
prize!

Tours range for 1 to 2 hours depending on
group requirements.
