There are two government programmes currently running from the London Office as well as a Central Management and Business Development team.Both programmes are in the ICT area, the first is establishing a SIAM Service and the second is a systems integration and operations contract, these two programmes are with important London customers and involve

Specific Job Description:
Reporting to the Human Resources Director for LMUK IS&GS, the Senior Human
Resources Business Partner will support in managing both operational and strategic alignment for dedicated business areas. The successful candidate will be an experienced senior HR Business Partner, with a proven background of managing multiple client groups within an organisation and demonstrable success in performing more than one Human
Resource function, such as work force planning and organisational design, human resources project management, performance management, employee relations, talent development, benefits, compensation and learning/development.
Alongside managing the HR Calendar and day to day HR operational requirements, this role has a strong focus on TUPE integration and on-boarding new employees, dealing with
Trades Unions, resource planning, employee relations, project management and will require specific focus on the cultural integration of new growth. The environment is challenging, fast paced and therefore, requires a motivated individual who is comfortable working autonimously, prioritising their workload.
To be the main HR interface for the London Office providing full HR support, building solid relationships, gaining trust, confidence and respect on all HR related matters. This involves being familiar with the HR policies and practices of the company and creating business value, by providing high quality and consistent advice and guidance. This will involve:
Effective management of HR operations by ensuring workload is planned and managed against milesteones. Ensuring that stakeholders are kept updated and issues are identified early and escalated as appropriate. This will include driving the performance management, salary planning, awards and promotion cycles.
Providing advice, guidance and support on employee relations matters including resolution of disciplinary, grievance and performance management issues.
Providing advice and guidance on compensation and benefits issues.
Providing advice and guidance on recruitment. Contribute to the induction process for employees and new managers.
Particpating in key meetings in order to understand the business and add value.
Helping to further develop the culture of the company and driving the company values.
Undertaking consultation forums in line with the consultation schedule plan with inscope and affected personnel and/or their representatives. Responsible for ensuring that our policies and practices are compliant with TUPE and wider employment legislation.
Understanding and able to offer comparisons and solutions with regards to existing terms and conditions of transferring individuals.
Provide recommendations and support with regards to any change and restructure plans including the implementation of any staff measures or intentions on those affected as a result of the TUPE transfer.
Work alongside other departments and key individuals to facilitate the smooth transfer of staff affected onto existing HR and Payroll systems. To effectively ensure that all
TUPE staff are transferred in a timely manner and that all on-boarding processes are completed accurately.
To undertake ‘at risk’ consultations regarding TUPE staff as applicable and in line with all policies, ensuring that all Agreement paperwork is completed accurately
The position may require travel within the UK.
Required Skills :
Proven HR Business Partner experience involving change management, an understanding of TUPE tranfers, resourcing, employee integration and performance management.
Contribute to the delivery of business strategy through the efficient and effective implementation of HR plans.
Experience of working with Trade Unions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with people of all levels.
Experience of fast-paced and growing working environments.
Ability to be flexible, and work under pressure.
Proven track record of leading and influencing others, enabling successful delivery of people interventions to support business performance.
