Hey Seniors – Over 30% of you have not yet submitted your transcript request form. You will need transcripts for any scholarships or grants you apply for as well as VC. Also, Ms. Nordin will be submitting GPAs for Cal Grant consideration in early November and she must have parent permission to submit them. Did you know, Cal Grants can be used at Community Colleges and Trade Schools as well as 4-year colleges and universities. So, get those forms signed and submitted. If you need another form, there are some on the wall outside Ms. Nordin’s office. Boys Soccer– Try-outs for the FTHS Boys Soccer team will be 10/27-10/31, Mon, Wed, and Fri. 2:304:30pm @ the Ventura College practice fields. You MUST have completed and turned in your Athletic Clearance Packet prior to try-outs; if you need an Athletic Packet please see Mrs. Carey in the front office. The Career, Job and Volunteer Expo - For high school students is coming! On November 14 from 9-11, there will be an opportunity for juniors and seniors to explore their options by meeting representatives from local companies, colleges, apprenticeship programs, government agencies and non-profit organizations.
