Position Description Be part of a team of the Eco Reps and encourage your peers to live sustainably through recycling, reducing waste, and conserving resources. $8.10/hr, 2 hrs/wk (generally flexible), mandatory weekly meetings Commitment through May 2014 Must live on campus Activities may include: Movie nights Door-to-door visits Tabling and quizzes about sustainability topics Waste audit Conservation competitions Posting information Sending e-mails to residents Writing Acorn articles Commitments Before you apply, some commitments to be aware of are: GROUP MEETINGS (mandatory) – The Drew Eco Reps meet on a regular weekly schedule. It is expected that priority will be given to these meetings. GROUP PROJECTS and WORK SESSIONS – Held periodically and at various times (e.g., preparing displays for events, supporting a fellow Eco Rep’s event, participating in a waste audit). WRITTEN WORK: Please know that it will be important to read and respond to time-sensitive e-mails ASAP during the year. You will be expected to complete weekly timesheets online and on time.
