Homework assignments: Due Friday 3/22 through Monday 4/8:
Due to classes that will be missed during MCAS testing on Thursdays 3/21 and 3/28, homework assignments will
vary by class. Below is the sequence of class days and the lessons that will occur on those days. Match those
lessons and assignments with the day that is listed for your class, and you will know what we will do on class on
that day, and what is due the next day.
DAY 1: Eclipses gizmo + 5 online - finish for HW.
DAY 2: EARTH SCIENCE REVIEW TEST IN CLASS - Complete "Lesson 10" packet up to page 58 for homework.
PERIOD A ONLY: Complete eclipses gizmo + 5 online for HW (over the weekend)
DAY 3: Finish Moon phases model worksheet AND read tides notes and complete worksheet for HW
DAY 4: Tides online interactive- finish for HW AND Finish "lesson 10" packet (pg. 58 - end)
DAY 5: Will go over Tides Notes and interactive in class - Finish "lesson 14" packet and "skipping stones"
worksheet for HW
DAY 6: tides gizmo + 5 online - finish for HW
DAY 7: “Flashlight Seasons Lab” and seasons notes in class - Finish lab sheet for HW
DAY 8: will work with globe simulators and seasons/latitudes worksheets in class- finish worksheets for HW AND
- Periods D AND F ONLY - work on Test study guide for HW - due Friday 4/5
DAY 9: will work on seasons in 3D gizmo + 5 online - finish for HW
DAY 10: will work on seasons stations activity in class- finish for HW
DAY 11: PERIODS A & E ONLY: will work on test study guide in class- finish for HW
DAY 12: EARTH MOON SUN SYSTEM TEST in class; for homework, read pages 214-218 and complete reading
questions worksheet. ALSO, the heat transfer assignments will be issued - due date to be announced
