 Clearly identify new technology
and the role it will play within
the district. This usually begins
with instructional practice, but
may also include support use.

same procedures. Any software will
need to go through the technology
Department and may require IMRC
approval.

essential skills necessary
to be a responsible
productive citizen
and life-long learner
through effective
performance-based
schools which recognize
and encourage each
individual within a
safe environment

Financial Considerations
 If a purchase is solely
hardware, it must fit within the
scope of good instruction or the
scope of support services
Identify hardware associated
with software. After software is
cleared, then hardware will need
to be considered. Within the
confines of standardization and
site capacity to support the
hardware.
Technology Donations
 Prior to purchasing, all purchases must
fit appropriately within a budgetary
funding source. Staff must have
approval from building principals or
appropriate supervisors.
 All donations will need to be
considered within the confines
of the Districts standardization
policy. Refer all requests to the
technology department for
approval.
