Forests Management LLC, Al Ain, U.A.E.
Job Responsibilities and Achievements:
 Designed Irrigation system for an area of 1800 Hectare at President’s palace
in Rowdha, Al Ain with 35 bore wells feeding irrigation to this area including
the well gathering pipe network to a 1 MG reservoir and the irrigation is fed
from the reservoir by a booster set with 400mm dia. UPVC pipes as Irrigation
mainline feeder for this entire area. This project was a turn key project and
the Client was Environmental Agency, Abu Dhabi. Job responsibility for this
project includes initial survey, yield test of the bore wells, water analysis,
Preparing estimation, scope of work, specifications, drawings, details, Bill of
Quantities,Programme of work including manpower, material and machinery
details, Discussions and meetings with Client for Contract award, organizing
material by coordinating with Purchase Department, mobilizing manpower
and machinery, Demarcation of the area, irrigation shop drawings, Applying
for clearance from various bodies for the existing underground services,
supervision of works, quality enhancement, monitoring the project to ensure
activities stick to time schedules, Installation of the entire network including
the pumps, Testing and Commissioning of the entire network and handing
over the project in time to the Cient.
 Designed network connections between the Sewerage Treatment Plant
Effluent tank and the Forest tanks in seven stations at Al Ain thereby
transmitting irrigation water from the effluent tank to the forest tank and in
some stations the distance between effluent tank and forest tank is 25KM, the
proposal with estimation, scope of work, drawings and details has been
forwarded to ADSSC and EAD for initial approval of the project.

Worked as SENIOR IRRIGATION ENGINEER in
Second Nature Landscape Design, Dubai,U.A.E.
Job Responsibilities and Achievements:
 Designed Irrigation primary and secondary network with pumping systems for
a landscape area of 20 Sq.Km with 800mm dia. HDPE line tie-off from
1200mm dia. DEWA TSE line and then collecting this TSE water in a
underground concrete tank of capacity 5000 Cu.m and the water is pumped
to the irrigation primary network of 400mm dia. HDPE line with VFD and PLC
controlled pumping stations and the capacity of each pump being 50 LPS.
The primary network has 53 Distribution chambers from which the irrigation





secondary mainline of 160mm dia. UPVC pipe network is covering the part of
landscape area and all the 53 Irrigation satellite controllers located near the
DC chamber is connected to the Central control system by means of fiber
optic cable communication, the Tie-in point near DC chamber is protected
with Flow sensor and Pressure sensor against a possible breakage in
secondary irrigation mainline.
Supervision of Contractor’s works for the installation of entire irrigation
network.
Supervision of Contractor’s soft landscaping works in the site
Writing irrigation specifications, preparing design drawings at various design
stages, preparing bill of quantities for irrigation works, Review and approval of
shop drawings and submittals.
Interface with Client and Contractor’s representatives and other Consultants
to resolve project and technical issues.
Review and approval of Contractor’s monthly payment Certificates.
SEP 2002 – MAY 2007 Worked as PROJECT ENGINEER in Nael Energy &
General Ent. Al Ain, U.A.E.
Job responsibilities and Achievements:
 Tendering for various irrigation and landscape projects released from AAM
and other bodies.
 Post-Tender meetings with Consultants and Client Engineers.
 Forecasting Men, Material and machinery schedule immediately upon award
of a Contract.
 Executed Zakher Sewerage pumping stations(M7) as an Electro-mechanical
Engineer with 600mm carbon steel pipe including welding and pumps
installation etc.
 Executed landscape projects for Al Ain Municipality such as H67, H94.
 Executed Civic Centre irrigation network with 400mm dia. UPVC mainline with
12 irrigation satellite controllers controlled by Site control Rainbird Central
Control system located near civic centre pumping stations by installing 2 Nos.
of 1200 Cu.m/hr screen filters with automatic flushing system and also a
weather station was installed to calculate the ET on daily basis and make the
irrigation network to work on a ET based system.
 Executed irrigation network in Qattara, Applied Technology, zoo, HCT
women’s college, Airport Road and 21 Roundabouts in AlAin-Dubai Road.
 Executed irrigation network in New Cemetery for Non-Muslims in AlAin-Dubai
Road.
 Procurement of Materials for the landscaping projects.
 Strict adherence to Budget and schedule without compromising the quality.
 Weekly and monthly meetings with Consultant and Client representatives to
update the progress, raise project and technical issues and resolve, raise
variations whenever the Client issue verbal instruction for works beyond the
scope of work of the project.
 Preparing Weekly and Monthly progress reports and forecasts.
 Ensuring smooth transition of day-to-day operation of the project.

Job Responsibilities and Achievements: Executed Maintenance works of Irrigation and Landscaping in Adnoc
premises in AbuDhabi City and Umm-Al-Nar Adnoc Training Center.
 Executed Irrigation network and soft landscaping works for Onshore Gas
Development Project-Phase2 in Habshan for which CCC is the main
contractor and Bechtel and Technip is the Consultant. In this project, I was
involved right from tendering stage to project completion stage including
twelve months liability period for the maintenance of irrigation and soft
landscaping works.
 Executed Irrigation network and soft landscaping works for Offshore Ethylene
Utilities Project in Ruwais for which Al Jaber is the main contractor, Parsons
International is the consultant and Borouge Petrochemicals is the Client. In
this project, I was involved right from tendering stage to project completion
stage including twelve months liability period for the maintenance of irrigation
and soft landscaping works and by evaluating our performance in that project
the Client has extended our maintenance contract by another three years.
 Executed Operation and Maintenance of Irrigation and Soft landscaping
works in Arzhana Islands and Zirku island in Abu Dhabi for which ZADCO is
the Client.

ensure that the works are being carried out as per project specifications, bill

UPVC irrigation mainline) throughout Town centre area and the landscaping
