Flow Chart for Students Taking the Career Development Series SBS/HUM/LOS/SCI 369 (formerly LCC 340), 413 (formerly LCC 400) and 447 (formerly LCC 450) At LAC, students are required to take a two-course series of career development courses, followed by an internship (see Career Development Courses for more information on these courses). These are part of the program requirements and must be taken in sequence, as they build upon one another. Occasionally, a student may be granted a waiver for any or all of the courses. Students requesting a waiver should send a letter to their faculty advisor with a copy to Leigh Mundhenk, the Director of Field Experiences (DFE), (mundhenk@usm.maine.edu).
