Day 2 – Thursday, 11 September 2014 09.00 A coach will leave Baer’s house/TEEC at 09.00 for a field trip to Session 3 Alam-Pedja Natura 2000 area. The participants will be provided with the maps of Alam-Pedja N2000 area. 10.00-12.30 The barge Jõmmu will leave Rannu Jõesuu village sharply at 10. The project Happyfish, LIFE07 NAT/EE/000120 Saving life in meanders and oxbow lakes of Emajõgi River on Alam-Pedja NATURA 2000 area), will be presented and discussed during the boat ride. 12.30-13.30 Lunch Lunch at Palupõhja Nature School 13.30-15.30 Session 3 Jõmmu continues downstream of River Emajõgi towards Tartu until the village Kärevere. The project Happyriver, LIFE12 NAT/EE/000871 Restoring the integrity of freshwater habitats in Alam-Pedja Natura 2000 area – bringing the River Laeva back to life, will be presented and discussed during the boat ride. 16.00-16.30 Arrival Tartu The bus from Kärevere will leaves around 16.00 (the exact time depends on the wishes of participants).
