FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2014-2015
This document forms part of the re-enrolment/admission process for Bali International School.
Students are not able to enter class until all re-enrolment/admission requirements are complete
and the school has communicated date of admission to class.
I, the Parent / Guardian of the Child(ren) listed below, hereby acknowledge that the School has
provided me with a copy of the BIS Fees Notice and that by signing and returning this
Agreement I am making a binding Agreement with the School as follows:

 NB: Tuition fees can be refunded provided one term’s notice is given to the school in
writing.
 NB: Failure to provide a Term’s notice will mean that any Tuition Fees paid will not be
refunded. For Families who have not paid the Tuition Fees and have not given one
term’s notice, they will be invoiced for the Term fees.

2. CAPITAL LEVY CHARGE (CLC)
 Payment Option: Payable in full, prior to enrolment. Not refundable.
 Students commencing in Terms 1 and 2 pay 100%, Term 3 pay 80% and Term 4 pay
50% of the full CLC.

3. REGISTRATION FEE: $1,000; to secure enrolment and deducted from the Tuition Fees. Not
refundable.
4. GRADE 11/12 FEES (IB and BIS Diploma fee) = $1,550 per student
 Payable in full, prior to enrolment. Not refundable.

5. GRADE 12 GRADUATION FEE = $150 per student
 Payable in full, prior to enrolment. Not refundable.
6. EOTC FEE (FOR GRADES 6-12)
 Actual amount confirmed at the beginning of the school year and payable by the end
of August.

The amount will be between $250 to $700.

Please note that these are approximate figures as final numbers of students are not
confirmed and final venues/costings not confirmed. Any funds not expended by the
EOTC trip will be reimbursed to the parents after all reconciliations have been
completed.
7. ADMISSION APPLICATION FEE (for new students only)

$100USD non-refundable. This will be credited to the Registration Fee if you decide
to proceed with the Application for Admissions Process. This is payable to confirm
serious interest in BIS and reserve a place on the waiting list.
INCENTIVES

Tuition Fees: A Family of 2 or more students at BIS will receive a discount of 5% for
the 2nd child, 8% for the third child and 10% for the 4th and subsequent children. The
discount starts with the 2nd eldest child.

CLC: Families with 3 or more full fee paying children at BIS, pay full CLC for the 1st
and 2nd child only.

**For one year only (SY14-15) – If a currently enrolled (SY13-14) BIS family
successfully refers a new student to enroll at BIS for SY14-15, they will pay SY13-14
Tuition fees (other fees are not impacted by this discount). It is a one-for-one; one
new student for one returning student incentive. Please contact the Head of School

DUE DATES FOR TUITION FEE PAYMENTS (YEARLY/SEMESTRAL/TERM):




Term One/Semester One/School Year: 30 July 2014
Term Two: 1 October 2014
Term Three/Semester Two: 10 December 2014
Term Four: 16 March 2015
For consideration of any alternative payment schemes, please contact the Head of School to
discuss this. All applications are treated on a first come, first served basis and there is a limit
placed on the Head of School’s discretion.
If parents/guardians experience emergencies during the school year that may impact on their
ability to comply with this signed Agreement, they are requested to immediately contact the
Head of School: headofschool@baliis.net or Director of Finance: ksumantra@baliis.net in
writing to discuss the situation.

If payment is not received by the due date, BIS can withdraw education until such time as the
fees are paid.
WHERE AND HOW TO PAY
The school fees must be paid by bank transfer or cash deposit into school’s account as below:

All bank charges are the responsibility of the payers. The name and grade of the
student/invoice number must be stated when paying to the bank. A copy of a
transfer/deposit slip must be faxed to +62 361 285 103 or emailed to
bis.bo@baliis.net
REFUND POLICY
The Capital Levy Charge (CLC), Registration, IB/BIS Diploma and Graduation Fees are
consumed by the School once a student enters. Should the student then leave at any time before
the school year ends, there is no refund of these fees.
Only Tuition fees, if the school is given a minimum of one term’s notice in writing to the Head of
School and Director of Finance, may be refunded on the basis of any TERM not attended.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. By paying Fees or sending my Child(ren) to School, I agree to have executed this Agreement.
2. I will pay all Fees for the above Child(ren), in accordance with this and future Fees
Notices/Invoices by the published deadline.
3. BIS reserves the right to take legal action as soon as fees are overdue.
4. This Agreement shall stay in force until I notify the School in writing to withdraw one or
more Child(ren) listed herein, in accordance with this and future Fees Notices. One Term’s
notice for withdrawal is required.
5. I confirm that my contact details listed below are correct and that I am responsible for
informing the School of any changes in writing, addressed to (info@baliis.net and
bis.bo@baliis.net)
6. I consent to receive all School Notices by email to my nominated email account(s) below.
The School will send an invoice with the due date of payment to the email address
registered by the Parent/Guardians.
7. Failure to pay the invoiced fees by the deadline will mean that the student/s are not able to
attend school until such time as the payments are made, and the Administration has advised
the student/s when they may enter class.
NB: By signing this Agreement, all Parents/Guardians agree to abide by the YBIS Articles of
Association and By-laws, and BIS policies and procedures. In addition, all BIS parents, students
and staff are expected to contribute to the harmonious operations of the school in order to meet

the BIS vision, mission and core values. Inability to meet this requirement can lead to being
asked to leave the school and tuition fees will be refunded pro-rata.
Once a student has withdrawn from the school or enrolment has been terminated, the
Parent/s/Guardians are considered to have automatically resigned from their position within
the organization of the school. The school organization being Komite Sekolah.

(iii) Bali International School Foundation (referred herein as “the School”, “BIS” or “the Foundation”)
(iv) BIS Fees Notice 2014-2015 and Future BIS Fees Notices (referred herein as “the Fees Notice”)
NOTICES: Any Notices to and from School by: (i) hand delivery shall be deemed effective 1 day after
actual receipt (ii) courier or registered mail shall be deemed effective 3 days after dispatch (iii) email or
facsimile transmission shall be deemed effective upon delivery receipt or in any case 1 day after
transmission thereof.
