Stark 1 The Cure All I believe that people have a right to pursue what makes them happy as long as it doesn’t hurt them in the long run. Happiness is proven to be a huge part in people’s lives and can even lead to a healthier and longer life. This shows how important it is. One of the greatest ways for happiness to occur is through laughter. So in believing people have a right to happiness, they have the right to laugh as well. Laughter should be a huge part of everyone’s lives and I don’t think anyone can take that right away from them. Laughter is a powerful component that can have a positive impact in a person’s life. Without it, one would have difficulty finding true happiness, relationships would be diminished, and the ability to look forward to a positive future would hold little value or hope. Personally, I tend to connect with people that make me laugh, no matter who they are. I believe life is based purely on the memories you attain, the impact you make on those around you, and the laughter you share with them. Laughing is something anyone can do and should be joyously pursued on a daily basis in every way and in every situation. This I believe to be very important. Laughter can make anyone’s day better and is stronger than any medicine known to man. It does more than just make you happy and is longer lasting than any pill or potion. Laughter gives you a peaceful happiness that never leaves you. I believe laughter can combat any form of sadness and helps to fend off the tears when times are tough and life is a struggle. I believe it is the strong remedy and will lend itself positively to negative situations and the roadblocks found in life. When I was little I was taught about the importance of laughter and grew up with people around me that made me laugh and snort on a daily basis. I learned fast that nothing felt better than a good giggle or chuckle, nothing. I believe that being surrounded with laughter has caused me to realize its essential purpose, and that is to help heal a variety of physical and emotional problems. My great grandmother is a perfect example of the exuberance and energy that is a byproduct of laughter. She is the epitome of humor and makes it a point to laugh and play and make light of every situation. It is almost as if she has tapped into the magic elixir or fountain of youth that people have been searching for. It is said that laughter adds years to your life. This I believe to be true without a doubt. My grandmother is but just one example of how laughter can keep a person youthful in spirit and in body. Put a little laughter in your life, and suddenly everything seems a lot less painful and a lot more enjoyable. Someone shouldn’t treat one person with respect and not the other, which is where fairness comes into play. Peers should treat each other as equals and give everyone a chance. In giving a person a chance, one shouldn’t judge, but truly try to get to know the person. It is important that someone doesn’t already view a person a certain way without even getting to know him/her. Also know that teachers have to follow this rule as well and they don’t just give random grades, he/she is earned. Fairness goes both ways and should be kept in mind when students or teachers are in certain situations. Fairness should be treated with care, thinking of others, and keeping people’s feelings in mind.
