7. COMMUNICANTS BY PROFESSION OF FAITH The Moderator submitted the following list of persons who have been under instruction as applicants for first admission to communion, namely
M and . It was resolved that these persons be admitted on profession of faith and their names added to the roll of communicants.
8. COMMUNICANTS BY CERTIFICATE The Clerk reported that the following Transference

Church. Session resolved to add the names of these persons to the roll of communicants and to advise the Clerks of Session of congregations from which they have transferred.
9. COMMUNICANTS BY RESOLUTION OF SESSION The Moderator reported that M , and previously members in full communion with the Christian Church had requested their names be inscribed on the roll of communicants of this congregation. Session resolved to add the names of these persons to the roll of communicants.
10. TRANSFERENCE CERTIFICATES ISSUED The Session resolved to grant a Transference

11. DEATH The Moderator reported the death of M on , 20 and his/her name was removed from the roll of communicants. Session resolved to convey its sympathy to

12. REVISION OF COMMUNICANTS' ROLL The Session proceeded to the revision of the roll of communicants. The following names were removed from the roll, namely, M by death;
M by Transference Certificate; M by absence from communion for more than two years; M by habitual absence from the regular services of worship.
13. LORD'S SUPPER APPOINTED It was resolved that the Lord's Supper be celebrated on Sunday the day of 20 at a.m. and p.m.
14. LORD'S SUPPER CELEBRATED The Clerk reported that the Lord's Supper had been celebrated on Sunday, the day of 20 at a.m. and p.m. and that there were communicants who partook.
15. PRIVATE COMMUNION The Moderator reported that, with M , he had administered the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper in the home of M who has been ill/is aged.

At the request of M who has been ill/is aged, the Session resolved that the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper be administered at his/her home at a time to be arranged by the Moderator.

19. SUNDAY SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT The Session received a letter from the Secretary of the Sunday School regarding the appointment of a Superintendent. The Session resolved to appoint
M to be Superintendent of the Sunday School and to advise the teachers of the Sunday
School accordingly.

20. YOUTH GROUP LEADER The Session resolved to appoint M to be Leader of the
Youth Group (to the day of 20 ) and to advise the members of the Youth
Group accordingly.
21. ORGANIST/CHOIRMASTER/CHURCH OFFICER The Session received a letter from the
Committee of Management proposing the following terms and conditions for the appointment of an
Organist/Choirmaster/Church Officer: (take in terms and conditions).
It was resolved to appoint M as Organist/Choirmaster/Church Officer (to the day of 20 ) on the terms and conditions proposed by the Committee of Management.
22. CHURCH CLUB The Session received an application from some members of the congregation seeking permission to form a Club/Association in connection with the Church.
It was resolved to approve the formation of a Club/Association and that the
Rules/Constitution be as follows: (take in Rules or Constitution approved by session).
23. ADDITIONAL ELDERS The Session proceeded to consider the desirability of adding to the number of its elders, and resolved that the number to be elected should be ; that the method of election should be by open voting, (by ballot/by communicants sending in a list of suitable communicants); that communicants be invited to submit to the Session Clerk the nomination of suitable persons no later than day of 20 ; that a meeting of the congregation for the purpose of electing additional elders be held on the day of 20 ; and that an edict be issued accordingly.
The Moderator intimated that he would address the congregation on their duties in this matter and would point to the scriptural qualifications and duties of the eldership. The session proceeded to a revision of the roll of communicants (take in minute 12).
24. ELECTION SUSTAINED (following a meeting of the congregation)
Session received a report from the Clerk that , and had been elected as elders at a meeting of the congregation held on the day of 20 .
It was resolved that the election be sustained and that the Moderator confer with the persons elected as to their willingness to accept office.
25. ORDINATION/INDUCTION APPOINTED The Moderator reported that he had conferred with the persons whose election to the Eldership had been sustained, and that and had agreed to accept office.
The Session appointed the Ordination of and and the Induction of, previously ordained, to be held on the day of 20 , and instructed the Clerk to issue the necessary Edict.
26. ORDINATION/INDUCTION The Clerk reported that the Edict of Ordination of and and Induction of to the Eldership had been duly served. No objections having been offered against the life or doctrine of any of them, the Session resolved to proceed to their ordination and/or induction.
After sermon and prayer, the Clerk narrated the previous proceedings and the Moderator called on the congregation and the elders-elect to stand and answer the prescribed questions. Satisfactory answers having been received, the Moderator, after prayer, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by authority of the session declared and duly ordained to the office of the eldership, and along with M inducted to the office in this congregation and he with other members of session, gave them the right hand of fellowship.
A charge was addressed by the Moderator to the newly-admitted elders and to the congregation.

At the close of the service the new elders signed the Formula, their names were added to the roll and the Clerk was instructed to notify the Presbytery accordingly.
27. ELDER FROM ANOTHER CONGREGATION The Session resolved to take steps to admit to the eldership M , bearing a certificate of status from the Session at and instructed the clerk to issue an edict calling for any objection to his/her admission to the session.
