SHOW RULES
This show is run under the rules of the MHCGB. MHCGB Reserve the right to refuse
entries without reason.
All exhibitors, handlers to be members of MHCGB by close of entries.
MHCGB Reserves the right to refuse entries without being required to assign reason or being
liable for any compensation.
Open to horses that have qualified 1 – 3rd placed at a 2015 MCHGB show unless stated.
The organisers shall not be responsible for any loss or damage sustained by any exhibitor.
The organisers reserve the right to cancel or amalgamate any classes if there are insufficient
entries.
Rules for each breed/type section.
The refined type classes are open to horses not exceeding 34” at maturity (measured at the
last hairs of the mane).
The draft type classes are open to horses not exceeding 34” at maturity (measured at the last
hairs of the mane).
The Falabella classes are open to Registered purebred Falabella horses not exceeding 38” at
maturity (measured at the last hairs of the mane).
The Partbred Falabellas classes are open to horses with either parent registered with a
Falabella Society and not exceeding 38” at maturity (measured at the last hairs of the mane)
The ASPC and AMHR Sections are run under ASPC and AMHR Rules. All Exhibitors are
asked to acquaint themselves with the rules. The horses must be registered with the
ASPC/AMHR/. Membership is not required UNLESS the exhibitor is showing in Amateur
classes - then a adult membership and amateur membership are required. Youth
membership is optional (Youth membership is free but must have a current member
adultsponsor for their first year)however, youth showing without a membership will not
receive placings/points nor are they eligible for any Youth awards offered by the
ASPC/AMHR/ASPR/NSPPR. .
The AMHA section is run strictly under AMHA rules. All exhibitors are therefore asked to
acquaint themselves with the current AMHA rule book. The section is open to horses
registered with the AMHA owned and exhibited by AMHA members only. Please send copy
front and back of registration papers with entry.
NB ‘PENDING’ IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR ANY AMHA NUMBER ON YOUR ENTRY FORM.
PLEASE CONTACT AMHA PRIOR TO SENDING IN YOUR ENTRIES FOR YOUR NUMBERS.
ALL ENTRIES IGNORING THIS NOTE WILL BE RETURNED WITHOUT EXCEPTION OR

AMHA Partbred section classes are open to horses with either parent registered with AMHA
please put sire and/or dam AMHA reg. nos. on entry form
The British Bred classes are open to horses with neither parent registered with AMHA or a
Falabella society or of unknown breeding not exceeding 38” at maturity (measured at the last
hairs of the mane).
THE British Falabella Studbook classes are open to Horses registered in the BFS Studbook
Proof of Registration must accompany Entries.
Category B classes are open to horses expected to mature at a height exceeding 34” but not
exceeding 38”.
Scaled Down Show Horse section open to horses not exceeding 38” and is judged on the
horse most resembling that specified type in miniature.
Colour classes are open to horses not exceeding 38” at maturity (measured at the last hairs
of the mane). Judged on 80% colour & 20% conformation.
Gelding class open to horses not exceeding 38” (measured at the last hairs of the mane).
Performance classes are open to horses not exceeding 38” at maturity (measured at the last
hairs of the mane).
Please observe our show rules on age. Driving horses 3 years and over, jumping horses, 3
years and over, liberty 2 years and over. Halter obstacle 2 years and over. Driving horses
must enter either Country Pleasure or Single Pleasure classes. Points from each class will be
added to produce the Performance Champion of 2014.
Young Handler of 2015 Points are awarded for every placing throughout Day 3 DOUBLE
POINTS awarded for PP Perfect Portrait, Concours D’Elegance and, Costume Class
