Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities. We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. ROLL CALL All sororities were present ANNOUNCEMENTS AND SPEAKERS Jordan: Created as a program called The things We Don’t Talk About. The lacking of sorority programing is wen it concerns disordered eating bulling. Will give sisters the power to see their sister is struggling and be able to help. We offer a 45 minute program with video clips live tweeting and to help sister talk through this in small groups. We can tailor this to an exec retreat or sisterhood retreat. Thank you. We also had Exec retreat over the break, co-sponsored with MLK Day of service Alpha Gamma Rho – Recently held a clothing drive within the chapter – donated clothes and old couches to Salvation Army Alpha Kappa Lambda – Went to Indy for National President’s academy. They gave us the tools we need to charter and they want us to do it by this semester. Alpha Tau Omega – We just had our elections last night and will be having officer retreat Wednesday. Sending people to emerging leader conference in Omaha Saturday Beta Sigma Psi – Had national convention over winter break, won philanthropy award. Currenlyt working on softball tournament for a memorial fund for lost brother Beta Theta Pi – Have initiation for fall class coming up very soon, sending exec team to Tulsa for lead conference. Set date for beta lei May 3rd Delta Chi – Worked on moving into new chapter house Delta Lambda Phi – Currently getting ready for recruitment. Will be volunteering for the K-State Drag Show. Delta Sigma Phi – Held exec retreat a couple of weeks ago, good ideas laid out for semester. Recruitment chairmen back from Indy from Summit. Getting more guys involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters Delta Upsilon – 8 guys went out of the country for service projects, had exec retreat last Monday FarmHouse – We had $30,000 in water damage, to the chapter facility. Exec retreat was last week. This week is formal initiation, next week is PhilanthroPROUD with K-State PROUD Kappa Sigma - none Lambda Chi Alpha – signed 6 new guys for the spring. Gearing up for another regional conference. Phi Delta Theta – Past few weeks we had intiation and pinned 10 new AMs for coming semester. Recruitment workshop coming up in Arlington Texas. Helped out with a HandsOn K-State event, put in 29 hours of labor Phi Gamma Delta – President’s academy was held in St. Louis. Beginning a spring philanthropy for the first time. Phi Kappa Theta – Participated in MLK Jr. day of service last Monday, had initiation this past week. Kicking off Children’s Miracle Network philanthropy soon Pi Kappa Alpha – Exec retreat over break, 15 spring new members Pi Kappa Phi – Working on recruitment, trying to get feet on the ground. Quite a few events planned Sigma Alpha Epsilon – Participated in MLK Jr. Day, Initiated all of new members. Sigma Chi – Traveled to Topeka to donate proceeds of Derby Days. Eric Dylan Music coming in for an event. Sigma Nu – Initiation for fall pledge class in a couple of weeks Sigma Phi Epsilon – Had our exec retreat, went really well. Regional director came in. 7 new guys joined at semester. Date party on Friday; 80s themed. Miami Vice. Sigma Pi – Leadership conference coming up in St. Louis. Spring philanthropy details to come. Tau Kappa Epsilon – Working on Blueprint program, helping out the community. Sending some members to Regional Leadership Conference in Oklahoma City in a couple of weeks. Theta Xi – 3 new guys joining at semester. Just got back from national president’s academy in St. Louis. Working on large fundraising effort for future renovations Triangle – Worked on building a house for habitat for humanity. The family was able to move in over break. Going to be doing more stuff like that this semester. In mid-april, we’ll be doing the duck race with ZTA and Acacia.
