Book entitiled “Management Techniques for School Administrators: Decision-Making Paradigm” (in press) and the first recipient of Vice-Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Faculty of Education at the University of Pretoria. Interested to develop a model of quality assurance for HEIs; improve policy formulation process in HEIs, and among education and government regulatory bodies. The purpose of my visit to the University of Pretoria is to participate in research and scholarly publication; with special focus on quality assurance in higher education. I am currently working to accomplish the following research projects: Quality Assurance in Higher Education: Cases of the Philippines and South Africa; The Comparative Analysis of Faculty Salaries, Remuneration and Terms of Employment in Brazil, Russia, India and South Africa (BRICS) countries; Performances of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in South Africa: Between 1994 to 2012; Dimension of Higher Education in Anglophone Countries and South Africa; Evaluation of Distance Education Programmes of the University of Pretoria; Higher Education Policy Processes: Policy Delibration, Institutional and Societal Context, and Quality Assurance in Higher Education: Africa Experience ( Book Publication). Relevant contibutions and comments will be welcomed towards successful completion of the aforementioned projects.
