Instrument Training
Optical Instrumentation – FTIR, UV/VIS
 BPS users will attract no charge for training.
 ENV, Eskitis, Glycomics and other research institutions $50/hr
General Equipment – GC, GC-MS, HPLC HPLC-MS, AA
 GU and associated users will be charged at a nominal rate of $50/hr per
person.
II Direct injections and infusions are run in 80:20 MeCN:Water, use of other solvents must be specified. Use
of other modes and other dopants (i.e. NH4+, Li+, Ag+, etc.) attracts an additional ‘unique’ sample
charge.
IV
By Direct Injections or Infusion. Samples are run in 60:40 MeCN:0.1% Formic acid, use of
other solvents must be specified.

Quantitative analysis data interpretation will incur additional hourly rate charges,
$200/hr (min $100). Method Development will incur additional charges as shown. EI Peak
identification attracts a $2 per peak charge for 3 peaks and more. Bulk samples are eligible for a
discount after discussion with operator.
Per sample charges apply for lamp changes.
Sample should be desalted and ready for instrument use. Please include low res MS Data. If a low res
MS spectra is not submitted one will be charged.
Reasonable use policy. Discuss with operator
