Use your Biology with Physiology textbook to read the assigned pages, define the vocabulary, and
answer the questions. Make sure to number the definitions, type your work, and answer all questions.
“Thinking” refers to the questions at the end of the chapter in the “Thinking Through the Concepts” section,
while “Applying” refers to the “Applying the Concepts” section at the end of the chapter. Do not answer the
wrong questions for you will not receive credit.

The homework assignment is due on the dates listed in class. If class is not in session on that day, the
homework is due the next day in class. Late homework assignments receive no credit (0). If the assignment is
not turned in by the last day of the quarter the zero grade (0) will change to -5. Do your homework assignments
ahead of time and turn them in early to avoid late penalties.

grade of zero for your assignment.
