VALLEY VIEW LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT Dear Valley View administrators, teachers, and staff: NEW THIS YEAR VARtek was busy over break updating systems, refreshing assets, and preparing classrooms and lab for a new year. Some highlights: Reconnected computer cables throughout district. Performed quality control checks. Installed, reimaged computers in high school labs, classrooms. Installed Chromebooks in new carts. ON THE HORIZON We will work with the district to develop additional training on and will support implementation of Chromebooks and other new equipment. We also will begin planning for the development of a technology committee and a technology plan to help keep Valley View’s students, teachers, and staff equipped with the latest educational technology. I hope the summer break gave you a chance to relax and recharge and that you’re ready for another year of driving student engagement with great content and great technology.
