Welcome to Capital Climate Tours!
You are about to take a journey on a world tour of capital cities to note climate differences in the
Eastern Hemisphere. You will need to pick a capital city from a country on each continent, (Europe,
Asia, Africa and Australia/South Pacific) in the Eastern Hemisphere. Keep in mind that Australia is
a country and a continent. In place of just using Canberra, (the capital of Australia), you may choose
one of its state capitals. You can also use any of the South Pacific Countries as a capital (this is called
“Oceania” in the website below).
When you choose your capitals you will also include a theme or connection for your tour. We all
travel for different reasons and like learning about various things. Some themes include, but are not
limited to. important sites of science, landforms, monuments, WWI cities, WWII cities, mother
country & its colonies, famous buildings and/or museums, stops of early explorers, trade routes,
religious centers, native peoples, food, personal ties, etc. If you have a strong theme, your trip may
be altered to allow for exceptions provided you approve it.
