Amazing Race Directions:
Each team is to decorate their Flat Stanley.
One team member will be selected to scan QR codes. Address locations can be placed in a GPS
or map application. QR scanner cannot be the driver for your team. Each team will have to
select a photographer using you’re their smart phone. There is also one person who is the
recorder who writes the name of each destination on the answer sheet.
Each team will take the QR Test as a group.
Once you have completed all four codes correctly you can pick up your first envelope to the first
destination.
Scan the QR code.
Insert the address into a GPS or map application. The driver will take you to that location.
One team member has to be a navigator for the driver.
Go to your first location. The clue next to the QR code will tell you if you have to Go Inside or
not. If you are going inside a location you will have to pick something up.
At each location you will have to take a picture of your teams’ Flat Stanley at the location to
verify you reached the destination. The picture will be sent to your team captain via text.
Team captain phone numbers are provided.
You will know that you are at the correct location because you will find an envelope with an
eagle and destination #. Inside the envelope will be a smaller envelope with your team #. That
will be the clue to the next destination.
There are 11 destinations total. The first team to return will receive a special prize.
You are allowed to ask for assistance in locating each location. You have three choices: text a
friend, phone a friend or “street shout out”.

hang out.
Destination #4 - Flat Stanley had a
great time at the summer reading camp. Go
inside and take Flat Stanley to the area where
young kids read.
Destination #5 - Flat Stanley
remembers being here for a blissful moment.
Destination #6 - Flat Stanley wants to
make a deposit. Go inside and help Flat
Stanley make his deposit.
Destination #7 - Flat Stanley is really
hot and wants to cool down.
Destination #8 - Flat Stanley wants to
join the PTA. Pick up a sign up sheet for Flat
Stanley.
Destination #9 - Flat Stanley is looking
for the schools best room mom.
Destination #10 - Follow the ravens,
and STOP. Flat Stanley wants to go to 6th
grade.
Destination #11 - Flat Stanley is
prowling with his panther friend.
