Welcome to Christian Faith Missionary Baptist Church (CFMBC)
and Building Bridges Ministries, Inc.
The Apostle Paul wrote these words to the Church in
Ephesus, in Ephesians, Chapter One, verses 2 through 4, “Grace be
to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus
Christ.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places
in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the
world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in
love: (KJV)
As we embark on this spiritual journey, we want to give thanks to God for this
opportunity and to Pastor Rattler as the founding Pastor of Christian Faith Missionary
Baptist Church.
Pastor Rattler with the help of the Lord has laid the foundation for the growth and
development of CFMBC and as the new pastor, we have been charged not only to
continue the growth and development of our current congregation, but to win new souls
to Christ by the preaching and teachings of his word. I believe that God is pleased when
his name is glorified, the saints are edified, and the body is unified.
I want to thank my wife, Angela and my children for sharing this ministry experience
with me. Our family has grown to include our sisters and brothers in Christ, and we
welcome each and every soul that God chooses to include in the Christian Faith family.
The Bible states in Matthew, Chapter twenty, verse 4; Jesus charges us, “Go ye also into
the vineyard and whatsoever is right I will give you.” We have chosen the slogan,
“Where the truth comes first” because we want to spread the gospel of “TRUTH” in the
spoken word and our teaching ministries.
In closing, we solicit your prayers and support for what God is going to do in this part of
his vineyard. We encourage you to join us on Sundays for our celebration worship
services, or during the week in our prayer and teaching ministry opportunities.
My sincere prayer is that God richly bless each and every one of you.

MISSION STATEMENT
The bible speaks of one mission found in Mathew 28:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have

Church Operational Overview
The Body of Christ is led by God the Father, and Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. As
Christian believers we are led by the Holy Spirit which dwells within each one of us.
According to the Bible in Ephesians Chapter 4 verse 11, the New Testament Church is
governed by Pastors and Teachers. The following depiction is our spiritual understanding
of proper Church administration.

And Jesus came and spake unto them saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and

Once you have accepted Jesus, Christ as your Lord and Savior, it becomes the duty of
every Christian to develop themselves into the new creation God expects them to
become. He says old things will pass a way and we will become new.
Building Bridges is the adult Christian education ministry at Christian Faith. We
encourage our members and friends to come and see the impact of consistent Bible study
on your life. During this seven module study you will learn techniques to handle the
details of everyday life, how to improve the relationships with your friends, relatives, coworkers and brothers and sisters in Christ.
Come DISCOVER the truths in God’s word. Come DEVELOP the gifts that God has
given you to be used at home work and within the body of Christ. Come DEPLOY the
spiritual power that resides within you. Live a powerful not powerless Christian life.

The NOW GENERATION, with the invention of the internet and the World Wide Web,
our youth and children are bombarded with information, but what is the real TRUTH?
We as Christians have a responsibility to live with a Godly moral standard. We hear
terms such as “politically correct”, we see television and movies created for main stream
viewing audiences but where and how are the Christian values taught?
This is where RIGHTEOUS ROYAL REBELS comes in, as a Christian parent(s) we
need tools and places to teach and demonstrate the moral standard of Christianity. At
Christian Faith our youth ministry has been designed to challenge our youth and young
adults to take their cues from the Bible. We have the number one best seller of all times,
the Bible as the centerpiece of any and all discussions.

Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto
them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew Chapter 4:18,19 (KJV)
What does it mean to be a MIGHTY MAN OF GOD? How do I learn to be the priest in
my home? If I am a spiritual king what duties and responsibilities do I have? Am I really
supposed to bring others to the Lord?
The Bible teaches us to “run this race with patience looking to God who is the author and
finisher of our faith” Hebrews 12:2.
In the transformation process from sinner to saint, men have biblical examples of God
fearing men. But men must be willing to submit their lordship to the Lordship of Christ

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and
they shall be one flesh. Genesis Chapter 2:24
From the creation of time, marriage as defined by the Bible is a union between one man
and one woman. The bond of marriage is to become so strong that the relationship would
take precedence over the bond between a father and his son, or a mother and her
daughter.
This union is the centerpiece for the family, the passing of human traits, physical, mental
and spiritual. Come study with us at Christian Faith the methods of developing a strong
marriage and a true husband and wife relationship as defined in the Bible.
Learn the messages as spoken in Ephesians Chapter5, verses 21 through 25, which
says”Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives submit yourselves
unto your own husbands as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even
as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. Therefore as the
church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;”

OUTREACH
Pastor Charles Z. Bassil was born in Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa. Monrovia is the
capital city of the West African nation of Liberia. He felt the call of God at the early age
of 5. Pastor Charles is married and has a son. His beautiful wife is Oretha Bassil and she
has been very supportive in ministry work. Pastor Charles has an associate degree in
theology. He is a senior student at global university.
Pastor Charles started active ministry work in the mid eighties. He has been pasturing
since 1992. Pastor Charles is the senior pastor of new assembly’s ministries.Inc. (Naomi)
He started pastoring Naomi in 1999.
Naomi is a ministry called by God and has since its birth birthed 10 churches through her
outreach and evangelistic programs in obedience to the great commissions established in
Mathews 28:19-20. Due to the nature of the work in this region in regards to reaching the
lost , building of churches, and establishing school programs, agricultural projects. Pastor
Charles passion is to continue these endeavors in the most needed cities towns and
villages in Liberia.
