Mona City’s Beautification Committee is excited to announce our Spring Clean Up, to be held
May 8 to May 15. This is a great opportunity to work together to enhance the appearance of our
city. We appreciate your help in making this happen.
Trash can be taken to the north end of the Mona City maintenance building, 100 East 125
South. Three bins will be available to dispose of your trash, one for metal, one for green waste,
and one for construction and other debris. Please ensure items are disposed of in the proper
container. Bins cannot accept household garbage, oils, paints or pesticides. Unfortunately, the
bins will have to be closed if any of these items are found.
Every lot owner, whether that lot is vacant or occupied, is responsible for the appearance of
their property. Enforcement of Mona City’s Nuisance Ordinance regarding lot upkeep has
begun, and trash and debris stacked on property lines will be written up. We encourage you to
complete any necessary cleanup of your lot.
If you need help with cleanup, trash removal, or have other questions, please contact any
member of the beautification committee.
