PRESS RELEASE The first ever New Europe Market brought together media professionals from all over to Dubrovnik, Croatia Thematic panels, the largest content market in the region, and entertaining parties at some of the most spectacular locations in Dubrovnik characterized the first ever NEM. Zagreb, May 14th - After 4 successful days of 14 thematic panels , the largest content market in the region, and entertaining parties at some of the most spectacular locations in Dubrovnik, NEM 2013 finally came to end. Specific to NEM is that it provided it's participants the perfect combination of business and pleasure. Throughout NEM were various networking opportunities such as Mediavision's Welcome Drink, the Eutelsat and MaxTV Coffee Break, the Viasat party at the Hotel Rixos Libertas with musical guests the Soulfingers and champagne provided by Playboy TV, Fox International Channels Happy Hour which was held at the Agora Bar and Terrace at the Hotel Rixos, and NEM's official party at Fort Revelin in the Old City of Dubrovnik. The Mediavision Welcome Drink began with a toast by NEM and Mediavision director Sanja Božić-Ljubičić, who thanked NEM participants for recognizing the importance of such an event. Despite the unpredictable weather the atmosphere was great with the help of the Soulfingers, as well as the sparkling wine brought by Playboy TV. The biggest surprise of the evening was a flash mob from the Order of the Silver Dragon whose performance brought attendees back in time to the Middle Ages. The following day Eutelsat, NEM’s Diamond Sponsor, treated NEM attendees to a Coffee Break, after which Apostolos Triantafyllou, Senior Vice President for Sales at Eutelsat, presented on the newest technology of satellite broadband that will soon go on tour in Croatia. Mr. Triantafyllou later went on to say that, 'The industry was missing and event like this in this part of the world. Everybody wanted to do it but no one was daring to,but Mediavision did it and this is why we decided to sponsor NEM. The market is dynamic and growing, and there are key players in the region and this event coincides perfectly with Croatia as it enters the European Union.' For the Fox International Channels Happy Hour NEM participants gathered on the Agora terrace; the perfect location that testifies that the CEE region is really a market with a view. In addition to being a great networking opportunity, music from the Ines Tričković and Quartet, finger food, and drinks provided a nice break from panel discussions and a warm up to that evenings NEM party at Fort Revelin. NEM truly left it's mark in the center of Dubrovnik during the spectacular NEM Party hosted at the historic Fort Revelin. The space and music delighted guests. The next day, after a long night of dancing, MaxTv's Coffee Break provided attendees with much needed coffee for the third and final day of dynamic panel discussions.
