“Considering the district’s lesson plan template and the key
instructional components in the field of TESOL (Teaching
English toSpeakers of Other Languages), SLPS ESOL
Program developed an ESOL lesson plan template to be used
by all ESOL teachers at SLPS. This template should be used
to plan for pull out ESOL instruction and ESOL courses. For
sheltered courses and team teaching, ESOL teachers may
use the school-based template. However, they need to add
WIDA standards, content and language objectives to the
school-based template.”
Thank you to all teachers who have submitted their
lesson plans and schedules using the new template.
Please, continue to submit your lesson plans to Elena
Okanovic by Monday, by 9:00 AM in order to receive
the timely feedback. If you write several lesson plans,
please submit them in a Zipped file.
